NOT a doctor. Anti-PA. Anti-scope creep. Podiatrists and optometrists aren't doctors. Behave yourself America.
Since the @RCPhysicians will soon become the Royal College of Quacks, I have taken the honours to make you a new logo. I only ask for one thing and that is to refund all fees doctors have paid. You're welcome!

This is @UMAPsUK formal response to @lengreview “At present we believe @TheBMA is the biggest threat to patient safety in Britain” Is this the opinion of all associates or just a tantrum from from an appalling leader who’s made things worse at every step?
#askforadoctor RCGP Reg Chair Why do people think they have a right to career progression which involves plating doctor without going to medical school. Medicine is about patients not ones good given right to career progression
Everyone should listen to this. The way @pa_StephenNash addresses prof Leng . You’re not safe enough to see undifferentiated patients . We’ve been saying this for years .
This clip is from Jeremy Vine show Nash & Leng are both on the same show- time stamp 29:45 onwards bbc.co.uk/programmes/m00…
I think this account has been hacked or taken over by someone else that is not the account owner. Sensible post history, long time on X and even posted mocking the pharmacist that did a FB removal from ear demonstrating a knowledge of limitations. Skulduggery is afoot.
We literally know more about medicine than doctors. We can easily manage long term conditions. We’ve been working in GP surgeries for last 20 years alongside our GP colleagues. Most would beg to differ.
To say that I am shocked about this job advert is is an understatement @nottmhospitals I hope you realise how complex and vulnerable Haem patients are, and how utterly dangerous this is, letting medically unqualified people play registrar in an extremely complex speciality 1/
Spot on. The name change was deliberate and an attempt to ‘blur the lines’ between PAs and doctors. It was all about branding them. Objecting to reversing that change shows how important that was to them
How many more examples have to be brought to your attention @wesstreeting ?? We do not consent to being treated by unqualified people in healthcare settings. Reach agreement with resident doctors and ensure trusts and surgeries employ those qualified and experienced.

Every day on here, I read another NHS #BeKind #OneTeam take from the lanyard classes that is so far removed from reality, so lacking in insight & so confidently sure of their flattened hierarchy, that I think it can’t be topped Every day, I’m wrong
All degree level healthcare professionals have similar skill sets, dedication & work long hours. Nurses, physios, OTs, lab staff, theatre technicians, sonographers, etc etc. Dr's do not work in isolation & it's teamwork. Stop acting like entitle brats.
As our national colleagues @BMAResidents held constructive talks with @wesstreeting to try avert strike action next week, And in the context of the @lengreview outputs, Here’s a reminder of the perverse disparity the current NHS pay structure produces here in the capital.👇🏼
Today’s talks with the Health Secretary were constructive, and we believe there’s a window of opportunity - albeit small - in which the Government can put forward a strong enough proposal to prevent strikes. Full statement: bma.org.uk/bma-media-cent…
How do we go about getting a national inquiry into the PA debacle sorted now that Leng review is done?
I fundamentally believe we now need a national inquiry into how the PA project got to the stage it did where it caused so much harm We need to hold the likes of @Jeremy_Hunt @AmandaPritchard @NavinaEvans @DacreJane @profjimspeaks @pa_StephenNash @ClareGerada @RCPhysicians et al…
Physician associate claims to have attended ‘medical school’ and studied 80% of graduate medicine in 2 yrs EIGHTY PERCENT! Is this what you’re teaching your PA students @CityStGeorges @CityStG_Health ?
Also refers to “junior doctors” and “physicians associates” - both terms which are outdated and should not be used
But @wesstreeting said 2 days ago that 'patients who go in (to NHS) with a range of symptoms looking for a diagnosis WILL be seen by a qualified DOCTOR trained to investigate & provide a diagnosis' So how can ACP/ANP etc continue in diagnostic roles? x.com/SkyNews/status…
Physician associates who assist doctors in GP surgeries and hospitals will now be known as assistants. Health Secretary Wes Streeting says this "better describes the role that they do". Read more ➡️ trib.al/aKsx2Nx
How Long Before @Mumtaz_Patel_1 🗑️ In @RCPhysicians Scandal ? #VONC #EGM Joining @DrSarahClarke @CathrynmEdwards @Bullock1Ian #PhysicianAssociate Scandal @DacreJane @bodgoddard Not Yet @HilaryWMedic @RunningMadProf @j59dd @OGMustafa @BDChadwick @JeanetteRCR
Just going to say that the drs retweeting this with praise, are showing that they really are not politicians. Listen again carefully. Wes talking about drawing a line means that he wants the PA saga to be done. It certainly will not be and it'll continue to be a thorn for him.

We just shorten it to Assistant. They shortened it for the past ten years to Physician.
The name change is a step in the right direction, but Physician Assistant Still ambiguous - people would reasonably assume this is a doctor Doctor’s Assistant is clearer …if the name change requires legislation then best to get it right this time
The Royal College of GPs holds firm following the Leng review. They re-affirm that the college: **OPPOSED a role for PAs in General Practice** 👏👏 We need ALL Royal Colleges to make a stand for the medical profession to protect public safety.
List of Councillors on website Atleast 50% of them have voted to rescind his FRCP bcoz they want to punish a whistleblower advocating for patient safety Given @RCPhysicians lack Transparency they will not release voting records Most of them still work clinically with patients🚩
The leng review was always going to be another fraudulent scam document, it was obvious from day 1. The PA project proliferated in the shadows for a decade, anons exposed it, and the leng review will allow it to continue in the light. 🤡🤡Incoming advanced ASSISTANTS 🤡🤡🤡
