Isn’t the very definition of a Resource Provision exclusion? Doesn’t it model ‘other’ for mainstream kids? Is a kid with a language disorder more likely to have a speaking role in the production of a Special school or a mainstream if in Resource Unit?

Far too many SEND children in our community are waiting more than the twenty-week limit for an education, health and care plan. We need to see far greater urgency from the government when it comes to tackling this crisis, because children and parents cannot wait any longer.

I would call Badenoch's attention seeking word salad another reason to never vote Conservative (although the way they've treated SEND provision in the UK should be reason enough!). Well said by @Autism as always!

This is so wrong, we should not be putting this pressure on children for the sake of attendance, we cannot prioritise attendance over well-being and health. Come on school leaders, you can do better than this.
