Great piece from @GeorgieR30 too in today's @theipaper: "It’s all well and good for Labour ministers to pledge to make mainstream schools more accessible, but they have a very long way to go" inews.co.uk/opinion/my-son…
I was totally chuffed to wake up to this review of How to Raise a Happy ADHD Child in today's @TheSun newspaper. Thank you Natasha Harding ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I find myself looking for work! Should anyone want to commission a journalist published in the Financial Times, Forbes, New York Post, The Guardian, The Independent, Business Insider, Fast Company and more, I'm available. #journorequests
Exc: Millions in benefits intended for carers, disabled people and pensioners has been stolen by DWP staff. £1.7m — the highest figure in years — was stolen last year, with £6m taken since 2020. The Government says it’s reviewing its processes. inews.co.uk/news/politics/…

The @educationgovuk needs to issue an apology to all those parents in the areas affected 👇🏻. At the time these were created we all told them of the consequences but they refused to do anything and continued with the awful scheme

How Gregg Wallace's handling of his downfall, is, in the words of one crisis management PR, "a shit show". inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyl…
Half of suspensions are for children with SEND. We must change culture and skill up staff to support pupils with SEND. bbc.com/news/articles/…
The SEND system is not lose, lose, lose. It’s fail, fail, fail. And if we fail to address systemic structural failings any new system will fail too. Let’s change the narrative. #SaveOurChildrensRights
Isn’t it time that local authorities and government acknowledged their role in the failure to implement the SEND system properly? Failure to fund the extended age range, failure to commission adequate services locally, failure of scrutiny and accountability nationally.
I was interviewed on the @theJeremyVine show on R2 about Gregg Wallace's pants (not a sentence I ever wanted to write). Hear my thoughts on Wallace-gate, as well as me saying "you know" about 30 times in the space of two minutes, at 35 minutes in. bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0…
It fully blows my mind how much misinformation is permitted to circulate about support for children and young people with SEND 🤯
Hi @TomSwarbrick1, I am a lawyer who represents parents of SEND children. @TiceRichard is completely mistaken in his view that the number of parents requesting EHCPs has risen so they can receive tax exemption in private school fees.
Dear Bridget. @bphillipsonMP What an amazing story and exactly why EHCPs must NOT be removed. What is your definition of “complex needs” as this young man would probably not fit your vision of it. @SpcialNdsJungle @IPSEAcharity @sosssen @johnharris1969 #SaveOurChildrensRights
When my son was excluded from his primary school aged 5,my world fell apart. But thanks to the most amazing special school and the support he received with his statement(now known as EHCP),he was able to thrive. Please don’t take this right away from others. #SaveOurChildrensRights
I wrote this on the latest Gregg Wallace hoo-ha for @theipaper "I’m going to go out on a limb here and say the vast majority of autistic men manage to hold down a career – day in, day out – without once feeling the need to get their tackle out in public". inews.co.uk/inews-lifestyl…
