This is foreign influence
From today, the Foreign Influence Registration Scheme will shine a light on political influence driven by foreign powers. Additionally, anyone acting on behalf of Russia or Iran must declare their activities. This is a vital step in keeping the UK safe.
Helping children walk or cycle to school sounds like a nice idea, but this will be used as yet another pretext to persecute motorists and restrict the public's mobility. Note the support from the fake-conservatives and "controlled opposition" Reform. theguardian.com/politics/2025/…
Cyclists 10 times more likely than motorists to be fined for jumping red lights in City of London trib.al/74xsLEz
Trust @roadcc to focus on the consequences not on the causes! The cycling lobby should focus on getting cyclists to respect the rules instead of attacking @NELCouncil for prioritising pedestrians! @APPGCW @activetraveleng @Heidi_Labour road.cc/content/news/c…
Lib/Lab/Con/Gn are the motorist's friend. Oxford LTNs: Fines for drivers top £1m over nearly 4 years - BBC News bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
Great thread on LTNs
Thread of articles on negative impact of LTN's. "LTN's blamed for delays to more than 3,000 fire engines out on emergency calls in London." dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…
Think it's time to remove these bikes from London how stupid must you be to block a pedestrian crossing
Croxted Rd is a great example of the greenwashing happening. LTNs lauded as "clean air." Reality: "New data from the RCGP research and surveillance centre shows the rate of asthma attacks in 2025 has consistently been above the five-year average." theguardian.com/society/2025/j…
So after years of @LambethLabour @RezinaChowdhury @clairekholland lecturing us on how LTNs tackle climate change, reduce overall pollution etc, @betterstreetswd confirms what we already knew ie that LTN activists are only really concerned about the streets THEY live on.
Lewisham’s HTN! How are these roads safer and less polluted? @MayorofLondon? Asthma rate in LBL are 2nd highest in LDN, Lewisham congestion made worse since the LTN 2020 @LewishamCouncil @LouiseKrupski @vickyfoxcroft @Heidi_Labour @Brenda_Dacres @Keir_Starmer @LukeVWarner
#Lambeth have issued their draft accounts. A thread on the state they are in and why. The council overspent by £60.5M in last financial year. Only in February the council was forecasting the overspend as being £41.6M. How on earth did the lose nearly £20M in the space of a month?
An independent review has been unable to trace any record off the disability group that Bristol City Council said they consulted. The suspicion is the Barton Hill Disabilities Group was “fabricated by the council to give an appearance of consultation”. bristol247.com/news-and-featu…
In @TowerHamletsNow we had a councillor who screamed “what’s it like in your echo chamber” when pulled up about cycling not holding on. He’s now in his own echo chamber having been thrown out by the electorate, failed in an acting career & now representing a Z list pottery host.
In London in particular, Cyclists are riding on roads, thro red lights AND illegally on pavements as though its the wild west. They sanctimoniously believe they are untouchable. It's not just a few cyclists who think they are above the law its most of them. Along with unchecked…
"Residents want choice, not a future dictated solely by bicycles. Many feel cycle lane expansions have compromised traffic flow, parking availability, and accessibility. Have we fully considered the voices of disabled and vulnerable residents? bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/25279358.…
So glad the 'lost to Right-To-Buy' grift is finally being seen through for the victim-blaming, disingenuous, harmful distraction it is. Others take note.
@lambeth_labour and @dannyadilypour guilty as charged! How much did you hand over to WeWork? It saved HfL's £200k per annum chief exec 10 minutes on their commute time when they didn't want to use the half empty and refurbished civic centre or one of HfL's many empty homes.
I’m confused as our leaseholders were pressured to sell back to you. You even bought out our local shop, spent £80,000 converting it to a HfL office. They preferred their Waterloo Wespace. You held 4 meetings, boarded up ever since.
Good news
Only 100m from Parliament is one of worst floating bus stops in London, a gateway to Parliament and Guys and St Thomas’s hospital. Next week MPs will be debating just how bad they are. Please write to your MP and demand a halt to them.

This is not a one off …. Watch this cyclist cycle at 39 mph in a 20mph zone … Is this ok ? Should this cyclist be taken to court ? Hitting a child or vulnerable person at this speed on this residential road could kill them. I wonder if he beat his personal best
