I wrote to @IslingtonTrib about tackling housing fraud which has enabled us to reclaim 155 council homes. Recently, I increased the capacity of the team @IslingtonBC . This week we secured another conviction - and £23,000 in compensation. @IslingtonLabour @IslingtonNorth

Accessible public toilets are vital for us all to enjoy London. We're working hard to improve our offer of free, accessible public toilets across @IslingtonBC and I'm encouraging our partners like @TfL to do the same. Here's my letter to them about provision at Farringdon.

Private renting leaves too many in shocking conditions, paying thousands to landlords each month. Labour is thankfully strengthening renters’ rights and fixing the broken system. Proud to speak in favour of our @IslingtonLabour motion at #IslingtonFC last week:

We're onto questions from members of the public - first up about housing and disrepair companies. @drjohnwoolf replying that the council has reported one firm and is monitoring cases so that so that firms can be reported as necessary 🏠#islingtonlabour

Question on housing associations and increased service charges to @drjohnwoolf - he answers that charges must comply with the legal regulations, and increases shouldn't go above the cost of services. But get in touch if needed: our Labour-run council will tackle the bad actors!
