The placing of HMP Pentonville in special measures is very concerning, but its failings do not come as a surprise. I will be writing to the Lord Chancellor and Pentonville's governor to discuss these findings in more detail.

Are there alternatives to Barclays in its banking services contract, to align with the council's sustainable policies? The Council has a cross working party group and is exploring all options - a decision will come to September's Executive meeting.
