10x dad raising 3 kids & dog with beautiful wife in Williamsburg Brooklyn
I enjoy 3 of these and don't even know what the green thing is
in your 20s you get sorted into one of these four houses like in harry potter
Waymo is a godsend for working parents. Need to hand off the baby between meetings? Put them in a Waymo and send them to your partner across town. Impossible before now. Really grateful we have this technology 🙏
+1 Guns and Roses concert and then premier of November Rain is vivid memory. Last episode of Newhart (mostly bc parents couldn't stop laughing). That one time my parents wouldn't let me watch Rosanne epi bc too adult...
I remember watching the first episode of SpongeBob with my brother with more vivid detail than I remember an entire family trip to London
No one likes it but NIMBY gets lots of fuel bc of hatchet jobs like what they did to this church. People will see this and say "nah we are good" for next empty church conversion
In Greenpoint, a church destroyed. All from one tacky landlord and a lot of white paint.
This is ridiculous. Mamdani got less votes than the Republican running against Jefferies. It's not even comparable.
Zohran Mamdani won Hakeem Jeffries' congressional district with 46% in the first round, and 52% in the final round of RCV.
Isn't this a car cutting off a bus and hitting a cyclist who has the right of way?
Another reason why cyclists MUST be regulated, insured and plated in NYC. To many of them are reckless and repeatedly cause accidents. Enough is enough.
This system of extracting side deal sweeteners from developers gets passed along as higher housing cost. We're so done with it
That’s not the point. I support new housing in my district - but we also negotiate deeper affordability, union jobs, & significant investments in Parks and other infrastructure to meet needs of growing communities. This Commission has decided that shouldn’t happen any more.
Gotta love rent control
Iron law of San Francisco real estate Can get a big ole apartment building for about the same price as a nearby two bedroom condo 😅
We're all excited to see our advanced Gemini Deep Think model achieve a gold-medal level performance in the recent IMO, solving 5 of the 6 problems perfectly (35 of 42 points)! 🥇 Unlike our entry last year, which first converted the problems to a formal proof language (Lean),…
Very excited to share that an advanced version of Gemini Deep Think is the first to have achieved gold-medal level in the International Mathematical Olympiad! 🏆, solving five out of six problems perfectly, as verified by the IMO organizers! It’s been a wild run to lead this…
This but for literally any startup over MBA
If you’re in your 20s in tech right now, a couple of years at OpenAI, Anthropic or a great AI startup will give you 10x the career juice of any MBA or graduate degree (and a lot less debt).
Polymarket has acquired QCEX, a CFTC-regulated exchange and clearinghouse, for $112 million. This paves the way for us to welcome American traders again. I've waited a long time to say this: Polymarket is coming home 🇺🇸🦅
It was a drug den in the 90s. Then we cleaned it up. Now North West corner is back to drug den. It is totally a choice. We are making choice to let people do drugs until they die in Washington Square park
My children used to play in this park. Now? “A record 471 narcotics arrests have been made in the precinct alone so far this year, up 68% from a year ago, according to NYPD data.” This is Alvin Bragg’s “no consequences” NYC. Wash. Sq. Park is a drug den. nypost.com/2025/07/20/us-…
South Korea, Japan, and Europe build the ships. It's their comparative advantage They also house 100s of thousands of US troops and tons of infrastructure. Gonna say they are safe option
A stark reminder of the problem America faces: China's largest shipbuilder built more ships by tonnage last year than America has built in total since World War 2.
My M1 Mac that I got when it came out in November 2020 is much better than my work laptop from 2024.
This is also a killer deal dam Not for the chip per say but the best laptop you're getting in terms of build, display, speakers, etc at $900. Quite literally nothing better.
“The arc of history is long, and it bends toward” *flips through history book* Oh. Oh no. Oh no no no
At some point it makes more sense for NYC to buy single family homes in Phoenix or something
The cost of building nonprofit housing in @ZohranKMamdani's world (built by unions, he says): $500,000 per unit The cost in the real world (non-union construction): $921,000. And these are studios and 1-bedrooms only. therealdeal.com/new-york/2025/…
The hate is fake. Everyone loves taking pics where they are main characters in background
I’ll never understand the people who hate on these towers. Personally, i think they look awesome and I appreciate the billionaires for financing this incredible view that I get for free!
All public money needs to be removed from actively managed funds.
If Chicago's pension funds were passively managed in 2024 (instead of spread across 80+ management firms), the city would have saved ~$40,000,000 in management fees. And returns would have been about 25% better.
