The Fight Against Anti-Car
@NoBikeLanes
We reclaim NYC streets from useless bike lanes, unnecessary road diets, unwanted open streets, and the right to drive in our own city without an extortion tax.
Regardless of the outcome, I'd like to share my opinion one final time on Congestion Pricing. It's a bad plan. Rammed through by the ideals of a select few who have no business determining how others should live in what is suppose to be the greatest city in the world. (THREAD)
Thanks to congestion pricing: ✅ business is down ✅ people have moved appointments/shopping outside the zone ✅ subway continues to run like shit ✅ increased congestion outside the zone ✅ FDR/BQE gridlock ✅ extorting poor and middle class NY’ers to drive Wow! Such success!
🚦Less traffic. Cleaner air. Faster commutes. Safer streets. Thanks to congestion pricing, NYC has: ✅ 67k fewer cars ✅ Subway & bus ridership up ✅ Traffic deaths down ✅ $15B for transit upgrades This is progress — and we’re just getting started.
Tipping BEFORE a delivery? What type of stupidity…
🚨 Read @Gothamist’s story on our victory! NYC will now require apps to ask for tips before delivery & restore suggested tips starting at 10%. “It’s a great victory,” said @WilliamLDU4NY . “We’ve been fighting a long time for this.” gothamist.com/news/grocery-d…
So basically: “WAH I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO BREAK THE LAW AND CAR DRIVERS SHOULD BE PUNISHED WAH” What is it you say to us? Oh yeah, cope harder.
Mayor Adams' war on biking: nearly 6,000 criminal summonses to people on bikes in just three months. Meanwhile, reckless drivers terrorize our neighborhoods, killing New Yorkers from Sunset Park to Chinatown. @NYCMayor does nothing. We went on @ABC7NY to talk about it:
Y'all complained about pedestrian safety and now that the NYPD is enforcing the rules of the road for everyone on it, what you really want is cyclists exempt. It doesn't work that way. The law is the law for everyone.
Does TransAlt live in any of the districts? No Does TransAlt live in the congestion zone? No How do they still infiltrate our community boards?
Do you live in his district? No. Do you live in the congestion zone? No. Do you live in NYC? Nope. How will you vote him out?
I call bullshit.
Business is not down, at all. This has been an all time record year for my West Village business. We have destroyed all of our previous records this year. Nice try
Person injured/killed by e-bike/bike: silence Person injured/killed by car: REFORM NOW! CARS BAD! EMERGENCY VIGIL! it’s utterly disgusting how TransAlt uses deaths to push their agenda. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
This past weekend, two New Yorkers were horrifically killed by a speeding driver exiting the Manhattan Bridge. Tomorrow, we'll stand together to demand safer streets and an end to traffic deaths on Canal Street.
They come out from behind things without slowing down. Massive road hazards
Another reason why cyclists MUST be regulated, insured and plated in NYC. To many of them are reckless and repeatedly cause accidents. Enough is enough.
Another prime example of why we MUST ban e-scooters, e-bikes and bicycles from our streets. They are reckless, entitled, dangerous and have no respect for the rules of the road. How many people in NYC have been struck by these reckless operators and go unreported?
Didn’t I literally just post a video of a cyclist running a light and getting T-boned by a car? The hypocrisy…
Because the traffic rules were written for cars and in many cases don’t make cyclists safer. No one was made safer by her being stopped.
Daily reminder that Gov Hochul, the MTA, and anti-car activists are extorting poor and middle class NY’ers $9 every day to drive home and to work, or pay $2.90 and be subject to your train getting hijacked by reckless teenagers with MTA equipment. #ENDCONGESTIONPRICING
Agreed, let’s start requiring insurance + licenses + plates to use bicycles in NYC. Every red light/stop sign ran should be +2 points added to their record.
More evidence our laws need to change
Thank you NYPD for enforcing cyclists to follow the rules of the road. Cyclists have roamed recklessly free from consequences for far too long in NYC. Safety starts with everyone. #EnforceNYCCyclists
The purpose of New York's "congestion pricing" is to make car ownership difficult and to rev up the exodus of the middle class from the city. It is a merger of interests between bike nuts, Gen Z "luxury beliefs" dilettantes, Marxists opposed to personal freedom, and cowardly…
So I guess all that talk about the money from congestion pricing going to fix the subways was just bullshit to further the Cause, huh Comrade? Congestion Pricing is slated to bring in HALF of original projections, but the issue was never the issue, was it? The issue was, and is…
There is no “Congestion Relief” zone. It’s a farce & the only goal is to extract money from drivers to fill MTA coffers. On top of that, manufactured congestion continues with closed streets, reduced travel lanes, and pedestrian “paths” on major avenues. @lawler4ny @NMalliotakis
The irony of an MTA Emergency Response vehicle being unable to move through traffic in the so called Congestion Relief Zone where we pay not to deal with this

Great, now go after congestion pricing. Millions of New Yorkers are waiting for you to shut down this program you promised us 5 months ago.
Governor Newsom and California’s high speed rail boondoggle are the definition of government incompetence and possibly corruption. The price tag has gone from $33B to $135B with no completion date in sight. We could give every single LA & SF resident almost 200 free flights…
This is one of MANY, MANY reckless cyclists roaming our streets unchecked. It needs to end. NYC must stop catering towards these reckless scofflaws and start enforcing the rules. TransAlt and related doesn’t care about safety, only to end car ownership.

instagram.com/p/DMOHAt3RcI2/ The individual in question is known to the MTA and NYPD over numerous incidents impacting the operation of trains, and somehow keeps getting released. But let’s extort people $9 to drive their own safe car home and avoid this nonsense.
