Landmark ruling in the Advisory Opinion by the ICJ on Climate Change. 1.5 degree C is legally the Planetary limit. All countries are legally obliged to comply. Even fossil-fuel subsidies can be illegal. States have duty to solve the planet crisis and can be held accountable.

Shell and other fossil-fuel companies have abandoned the Science Based Targets initiative—a six-year-long attempt to define a global, corporate “net zero” emissions strategy—after being told that such a standard would require them to stop developing new oil and gas fields.
Why aren’t we treating this like the emergency it is? Mankind needs to come together if we & pretty much every other species are to survive. That’s the truth of the matter.
