Why are fossil fuel companies allowed to profit at all? Why aren’t they being forced to pump their $2,500,000,000 DAILY PROFITS into rapid decarbonization? Why aren’t all those who subverted the truth about this genocidal industry for 40 years in prison? Genuine questions.

Earth’s energy imbalance has more than DOUBLED in 20 years. Earth’s boiling on the stove. The lid’s on the pan. And ‘leaders’ are still cranking the heat higher & higher & higher with $7,000,000,000,000 in yearly fossil fuel subsidies.
Ideally we’d all wake up to the fact we’re on track to lose absolutely everything BEFORE we all lose absolutely everything.
If you’re furious about immigration but not furious about the wars & corporate looting or the climate & ecosystem destruction that is turbo-charging immigration, then you’re having your bigotry & ignorance exploited by those profiting from all these things.
Soil. Fungi. Insects. All vital for our food system to exist. All being decimated by fossil-fueled capitalism. It’s degrowth, or risk global starvation.
Do you HEAR that sound...? TWO MILLION people are being starved, bombed and shot to DEATH, right now, at this moment. Western politicians and Western media are SILENT. Their SILENCE is DEAFENING. WHAT KIND OF WORLD IS THIS?
I’ve never met a young person who drips racism & sexism into casual conversation, & who relentlessly blames the poor & the desperate for the crimes of the rich. I’d trust my 11 year old son to make a more informed choice in the voting booth than a lot of the grown ups I know.
