This you lad? @wesstreeting
Now we know why Rishi Sunak refuses to negotiate with NHS staff. He wants the strikes to go ahead, so he can blame doctors and nurses for his failure. #PMQs

How the hell did people fall for this being called Masters in Medical Sciences? Also what kind of shoddy academic due diligence allows a university to call this course Masters in MedSci?
Nash thinks that employees rights trump patient safety Genuinely wouldn’t let people like this anywhere near healthcare and he’s just been an useful idiot for the PA implementation plan He’s suggesting if MHRA advised GPs to stop prescribing a drug, that they should continue…
Seems that both HR consultants and UMAPs share the concerns about the legality of the current action. Employers should think very very carefully before acting on the request. Good luck being able to prove genuine consultation with no predetermined outcome...…
We're getting picket ready!! East Midlands picket will be outside QMC, Derby Road entrance from 8am 👊👊👊👊👊👊 @TheBMA @BMAResidents
Will be back outside the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Green Area for the South Yorkshire Regional Picket 👉👉8am to 11am, Friday 25 July 👈 @TheBMA @BMAResidents 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
My favourite response to this letter so far: “Meal deals not real deals” Almost can’t believe they actually leaked it 😂 We knew it was a possibility But considering it has literally nothing of substance in it, we thought they might have thought better of that ingenious plan
EXCL: Wes Streeting’s offer to the BMA in full - including cheaper lunches! This is what the doctors’ union rejected in favour of strikes: thesun.co.uk/news/politics/…
UMAPS threatening employers 🤣 Stephen - sue DoH, GMC, PA unis, the likes of Jeannie Watkins, Parle G, RCP et al (probably yourself too) 🤣 Employers need to keep patients safe and that will never trump employee rights

ACP exams have little diagnostic/ clinical merit. Merely analysing & defending their actions on self-selected (past) clinical cases. As if being prepared to legally defend their actions not robustly test clinical knowledge. An unsafe learning on patients role without safeguards.
PLEASE BE HONEST WITH THE PUBLIC @Keir_Starmer @wesstreeting May be 1000 but certainly not 2000, many are in ARRS roles which are not adding substantial patient benefit & consult rates are not up 3000 about to enter workforce with limited jobs available gponline.com/opaque-gp-work…
We promised 1,000 more GPs this year. We've delivered double that. 2,000 new GPs hired — delivering millions more appointments and making sure the NHS is there for everyone, whenever they need it. Our Plan for Change in action.
Let’s for a minute assume this is true Certainly presents a Hobson’s choice for GP partners employing PA’s Amend the PA role as per government decree & risk legal consequences Or Carry on & potentially expose oneself to gigantic clin neg suits? #Nofreelunches #mealdeal 😉

So @UMAPsUK are "seeking further advice on whether the guidance set out by NHS England in its letter is mandatory or to be carried out at employers’ discretion." Here's the answer For free It's MANDATORY @pa_StephenNash

Wes Streeting has entered a battle against a beast that cannot be tamed unless doctors rightfully get FPR. After telling patients last week they should always get to see a Doctor he will pay those with absolutely no medical training (ACPs) more than what doctors are asking.
UNSUBSCRIBE @DHSCgovuk @wesstreeting Instead of spamming resident doctors why don't you come to the negotiating table with a mandate.
Doctors will give you the same answer RDC did. Stop trying to go over people's heads and negotiate in good faith with a mandate. You can keep leaking to the papers or you can start acting like a health secretary.
Remember the thanks you got? Wes says we're in it together He wasn't there He says times are tough He wouldn't know He says now's not the time It never is Playing nice doesn't work He'll bleed you dry Strike hard #MMGA
The free food @wesstreeting is promising Resident Doctors.
Ewwwh Can @wesstreeting sink any lower?
Streeting using NHS England to distribute his political messages to resident doctors across the UK. Eerily Orwellian, akin to the Ministry of Truth, manipulating the narrative and spreading propaganda.
What is @wesstreeting talking about? Resident Drs balloted for FPR They passed their ballot for FPR They are going on strike for FPR Nobody strung Wes along This was clearly explained to him over a year ago when he first promised a journey to FPR What a plonker
Exclusive: Wes Streeting the and NHS have a new tactic for dealing with the BMA - they are effectively trying to break it, destroying its ability to mount a protracted wave of industrial action Sir Jim Mackey, the head of NHS England, told hospital leaders yesterday that…
Doctors are fleeing the NHS. Every year, 20 000 doctors are leaving the profession prematurely - many because their pay no longer reflects the weight of the job. The real question isn’t whether we can afford to pay doctors. It’s whether we can afford the cost of losing them.
