I’m proud of the campaign I ran despite the situation I faced, but where has it been reported in the media? It’s not like the safety of MPs hasn’t been of public interest or newsworthy. Yet with me, there evokes a deadly silence & women’s experiences are treated so differently.
In Poplar and Limehouse, we are clear: refugees are welcome here. In the face of relentless demonisation and targeting, we continue to stand with migrants for their rights to safety and dignity. It’s the far-right and their hateful ideology that are not welcome here.
Saddened by reports of deaths and injuries as a result of a military aircraft crashing in Dhaka. My thoughts are with all those affected and impacted, and the emergency services in Bangladesh responding to the incident.
At the grassroots, our communities continue to rise with every challenge. My speech at the Muslim Community Service Awards:
In our thousands in our millions we are all Palestinian. The rain won't stop us, the government won't stop us. Free Palestine. London 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
We will keep marching, until children being bombed in Gaza stop asking: When it rains, will we drown in the tent? Do the children who have their legs amputated grow new legs? When will the death and destruction end?
Mentoring and coaching can be transformative for growth and change. This week, I was pleased to meet and congratulate students and leaders from Oaklands, Langdon Park & George Green schools who have been doing just that, with primary pupils transitioning to secondary education.

These calls are urgent, and align with the powerful reflections shared by @ApsanaBegumMP and @Safety4Sisters, during a panel that also included @jessphillips MP, on the harm of discriminatory immigration policies. 2/3
Last year, I ran in an election where I faced ongoing abuse, harassment and coercive control. Last week, I spoke at @womensaid’s National Conference on the upcoming VAWG strategy and led a session on Parliamentary engagement with the sector. A year on, I say once more: I will…

Diane has always stood up for me. I stand in solidarity with her against the attacks she continues to face in public life.
This is the clip of my interview.
No Labour MP was elected on a manifesto to slash billions of pounds from disabled people’s benefits. We were elected to deliver change, not cuts.
💜
A huge thank you to @ApsanaBegumMP for being such a powerful and inspirational speaker at the @womensaid conference. Her strength in sharing her journey as a survivor of domestic abuse moved us all. 💜 #WomensAid #DomesticAbuseAwareness #Inspiration
Thank you to both of my Constituency Labour Party’s and the wonderful members in them. Your support and solidarity shows the very best of our movement 🌹✊🚩
Along with other MPs, I voted against cuts that would drive disabled people into poverty and despair, because it was undoubtedly the right thing to do. This is about which side of history we are on. x.com/NeilForPoole/s…
Statement on my suspension from the Parliamentary Labour Party.
Today the @APPGEducation launched its report into the Loss of the Love of Learning in schools and colleges after taking evidence from primary, secondary, and FE students, as well as teachers and education sector stakeholders. You can read the report here: educationappg.org.uk/wp-content/upl…
A pleasure to present at the prestigious Muslim Community Service Awards, celebrating the contribution of individuals in service & solidarity with British Muslims. Also, a moment to catch up with Rabbi Herschel Gluck, a beacon of light 💖
