Our Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is being hollowed out because of Scottish Government budget cuts. Less firefighters and less appliances mean people and communities will be less safe. Firefighters at @FBUScotland need adequate government funding in order to do their jobs.
SFRS have launched a consultation with proposals to close fire stations, change fire cover, and remove appliances. Following the removal of 166 firefighter roles in 2023, these additional cuts threaten to leave an already stretched service without adequate staff and resources…

Both myself and @Euan4Falkirk are working with the UK Government and Alexander Dennis to save Scottish bus manufacturing. Scotland needs more industry, not less.
The Government should be pressuring INEOS to provide more support for the shared service workers at Grangemouth that are to lose their jobs. The government must do more and I will continue to push them to do so. @GrangemouthJobs @UniteEconomy @unitetheunion
