Can’t we all work together to make our world a better place? If you are not part of the solution, you may very well be part of the problem.

But school districts do no wrong? @PSBA @lfeinberg @JackSkyrunner @Stand4Cybers @shesanti @SharonSedlar @subtoasted @Travis_Bordeaux @YDelko
In 2016, ELC & our partners sued the School District of Lancaster for diverting older immigrant students with limited English to an inferior alternative school. Named plaintiffs in the federal case included refugee students ages 17–21. Learn more: at.elc-pa.org/timeline

Thanks @MyCommonwealth for highlighting this amazing, student-written op-ed in your morning "News & Brews" delawarevalleyjournal.com/walish-propose…
“An organization that traps poor kids in failing schools to protect its power should not have the backing of the federal government. The NEA has strayed far from its original purpose — and its privileged status must end.” I believe it’s time for Congress to examine the merits…
So districts have amassed $14 BILLION in reserves and designated (saved funds for future known expenses) funds, and “need” more to be TAKEN from cyber charter students who have been effectively alienated/harmed by those same districts? Kids escape bad environment . Find safety.…
It’s almost $14 billion with all reserves and designated funds, etc. Double the money the commonwealth has in the bank

“We can make transformational changes for thousands of students right now, but we must have the courage to stand up to the special interests in Harrisburg and put our children first.” The time not NOW, but ALWAYS. We will never give up until every child has real education…

🧐 well well well. Yet another way cyber charter kids get shortchanged. Its time to put an end to that. #SchoolChoice @PAHouseGOP @PASenateGOP @Malliard
Rep. Jim Struzzi had some good comments in his interview with PCN today. One thing - cyber charters and district virtual programs are not comparable. Districts receive the full per-pupil tuition for that student attending their virtual academy. Cyber charters receive ~30% less.
Double standard. Just imagine what would happen if a public cyber offered cash incentives. But it’s OK as long as you’re part of the establishment trying take away a family’s right to choose the best school for their child. 🤦♂️ tribdem.com/news/state-cyb…

Amazing op-ed from @JoeDforPA and @RepMarcAnderson Cyber parents, take note. Show support for their efforts on behalf of nearly 70,000 PA children.
The union-led gov’t school lobby is well-funded and expert at telling half-truths. @RepMarcAnderson and I have your back, cyber parents. @DeAngelisCorey @SchoolChoiceNow @MyCommonwealth @PaEdChoice thecentersquare.com/opinion/articl…

The federal education funds need to follow the child, not the school district. There are too many failing schools out there.

NYC’s teachers’ union held a protest outside my office after I did a special on school choice. “Shame on you!” They shouted. Unions don’t want competition. Children suffer:
