I suggest that you replace the words teacher unions with teacher union cartels, because that is essentially what they are and how they operate. They are a far left money launders for the democrat party. They do not represent parents, children or education, and should not exist.
Teachers unions can no longer mandate that public employees pay them dues. It would be a violation of their First Amendment rights. Teachers should DEFUND the union by OPTING OUT. They can use the Christian Educators Association for legal protection.
