School Choice. Let the money follow the student. Competition. It’s healthy. My opinions are just that: mine.
What makes you think the cost is less. Cyber does not mean building-less. Especially with todays cyber climate … there is more expense in maintaining cyber solutions and less that the cyber student will rely on that home district for those reserved funds. 🤯
Wake up Josh. I guess most Pennsylvanian’s are “extemists”. You are out of touch. @GovernorShapiro
Projecting discrimination of women in any case is not a good look for PA’s Governor - we know there are other instances as well. @PAGOP @PASenateGOP @PAHouseGOP @Riley_Gaines_ @IWF
Yeah, we’re “extreme” alright… us and nearly 8/10 Americans, including 67% of registered Democrats. THIS is the face of the new Democrat party?
Uh yeah. It’s concerning. On a lot of levels. Especially with the budget as it stands 😒
Not gonna lie - this concerns me on a personal/voter level. Gov. Josh Shapiro nearly doubles the number of staffers dedicated to communicating his agenda inquirer.com/news/pennsylva… via @phillyinquirer
🚨🚨Philadelphia schools are in crisis. A series of damning stories paints a grim picture of the situation children will be walking into at the start of the new school year. 🧵⬇️ commonwealthfoundation.org/blog/what-is-g…
You shouldn’t have to win a lottery or move zip codes to get a decent education. That’s not equity—it’s injustice. Educational choice now! 🎒🏫
A historic breakthrough for school choice. The first permanent and uncapped 100 percent federal scholarship tax credit will expand real educational opportunities for families across the country. This is a milestone for parents seeking school options and a brighter future for…
"Governor Shapiro...can shepherd a deal between the [PA] Senate and House that ensures families have access to the school that best fits their child. The 2028 race for the presidency will not be won by the meek, but by the bold." broadandliberty.com/2025/07/22/mar… via @broadandliberty
You may agree or you may not. But you need to be aware. We appreciate this post series from @DeAngelisCorey 👇👇👇
I just found the National Education Association's 2025 handbook.
I remember when our local Tractor Supply took ivermectin off the shelf. Farmers knew it was safe at the right dosage and they weren’t conspiracy theorists. Common sense over legacy media.
🚨 “The FDA is now saying it’s ok to take Ivermectin if you have Covid” Oh look - another ‘Conspiracy Theory’ being confirmed in real time, after years of Legacy Media & vaccine fanatics labelling it as ‘Horse Dewormer’. Conspiracy Theorists remain undefeated.
Don't listen to this poster. How much do the public schools have in hidden accounts? We need a full audit of the public school system, PSERS, and the union. We also need a flat tuition rate to educate a student in PA K-12, regardless of their location, and that money follows the…
Sorry NEA. You have missed the mark, again. #SchoolChoice
The National Education Association's handbook says that "home schooling programs based on parental choice cannot provide the student with a comprehensive education experience." They need to look in the mirror.
We said it and we meant it. We wish parents didn’t call us begging for help. We wish we weren’t needed. But we are to fight alongside families who feel they have no place to turn in PA’s education system. We will make change for them and their children.
PA routinely fails children with disabilities in the K-12 education system, literally forcing them out to alternative education models - if the family can afford the attorney needed to fight for it. The @pde is ineffective and non-responsive. You refuse to meet with parents…
“Your child has depression and ADHD and exhibits signs of being suicidal, but the prisonlike school we force them into seven hours a day definitely has nothing to do with that at all.”
The ability for school and parental authorities to label pretty much anything they want in children as “mental illness” is a way to deflect responsibility for the misery they’re causing. Adult authorities bounce between blaming the biology of the kid and blaming the character of…
IMO. It should be illegal for teachers, teacher’s unions and associations to advocate against school choice options for students. The priority should always be the best interests of the students- not money for x or y.
Here is the email from Teri Kopack to all staff opposing a new charter school because "it is anticipated to cause a further decrease in enrollment across our district" and "less students = less $$" Teachers unions see kids as dollar signs.
