Yes, these are indeed all things which are net negatives for safety.

What we really need is license plates on e-bikes.
This happens constantly yet @NYPDPC is still focused on giving criminal summons to cyclists. patch.com/new-york/harle…
Doing the Lord’s work
I report non-existent mobile speed cameras on google maps in places where I think the speed limit is too high, and it might be dangerous for children trying to cross the road.
Pedestrian fatalities due to cars in 2024: 120 Pedestrians fatalities due to bikes in 2024: 1
Counterpoint: cars are not the base mode of transportation so they should not be prioritized as such. The proper hierarchy is: people walking and rolling > people on bikes and using transit > goods and service delivery > taxis and shared vehicles > private cars, dead last.
Say it with me: Bikes do not deserve any dedicated lane or infrastructure in any major metropolitan city *unless* it can be done without removing lanes to begin with.
The police have never solved a crime that didn’t take place in a properly licensed car, FYI
It’s impossible to identify scofflaws without one, which is a reason cars have plates.✔️
ICYMI: @USDOT @SecDuffy knows nothing about bike lanes: nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/04/25/tru…
It actually is brilliant. The rest of the world knows this. NYC is embarrassingly late to the game.
Instead of bags only on the curb at night, you have these monsters 24/7 and no parking on the block. Brilliant!
Absolutely hilarious.
The Trump administration is so bad at this rule-of-law stuff that sometimes they can't even hide it: nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/04/24/dis…
Suburban drivers make more money on average than commuters who take the subway to the congestion relief zone.
.@RepLaLota is right. @GovKathyHochul’s illegal toll is all about covering up the MTA’s mismanaged budget. We’ll keep fighting for working class Americans and small businesses.
💯
What's going on here is that the Trump Administration realized they have no chance of getting an injunction to stop congestion pricing, so they're punting. Let me explain: Trump cannot halt congestion pricing. It's a NYS program authorized by federal and state law. The only way…
Really feeling so sad for @AFineBlogger @VickieforNYC @Maria4Dist6 @BobHoldenNYC @GovMurphy @NMalliotakis @RepJoshG @NoBikeLanes @ViralNewsNYC @NoCongestionTax today since their Congestion Pricing tears are filling buckets to hydrate crops this summer. Take care kids.
Your tax dollars paid for an unfuckable incel who's never been outside the US to gloat about destroying our own soft power structures because he's too stupid to understand what they do. 🧵
I don’t hear you defending it. DEFUNDED!

The cameras are staying on. Traffic is staying down. Commutes are staying shorter. Congestion pricing is here to stay: ny1.com/nyc/all-boroug…
Outstanding analysis. Decongestion pricing works!
The first empirical evaluation of New York's congestion pricing has just been published. Spoiler: It worked really, really well🧵
I can’t think of a better military investment than spending $175B to eliminate half of Russia’s military capacity without a drop of US blood.
New Yorkers fought to free ourselves from a mad King in 1776 and we will do it again in 2025
"CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED. LONG LIVE THE KING!" –President Donald J. Trump
But bike lanes cause congestion.
An ambulance can't get down my street because some asshole decided to double park their car in the middle of the lane and we really need to accept some folks just aren't capable of property operating or owning cars.
lol the anti congestion pricing candidate lost in a landslide
