Campaigner. Crush Crime. LFG. I care about our future, progress, history, and trying not to be cheems.
0.1% Growth. We shouldn't accept this. Today, we're releasing the LFG Bill. The Bill by-passes the blockers in planning and fast-tracks the building of Nuclear Power Stations, Overhead Cables and Data Centres. Join LFG and help us make growth legal again🧵👇

Why are police numbers dropping? Why are they in a recruitment crisis? There are many reasons - but stories and pictures like this give some of the detail.
When I was an MSC one of the things I thought was telling, was that many police stations had the remnants of unused facilities; Section houses so officers could sleep on-site, large gyms to keep them fit, canteens so they could always have a decent hot meal and even access to a…
This is a reminder that no less a personage than Dominic Cummings thinks you should 'Sign up to the LFG campaign here' -> lookingforgrowth.uk
I agree with Dom. 👉Lookingforgrowth.uk👈 @dominic2306
Couldnt have asked for a more perfect demonstration of why putting your ID online is a bad idea on the same day that the UK gov enacts online ID laws
It turns out that the "Tea" app DOXXES all its users by uploading both ID and face verification photos, completely uncensored, to a public bucket on their server
Banning repeat dangerous drivers doesn't take up prison space. Banning those with ghost plates will help police and the courts disrupt organised crime across this country. This isn't expensive. It isn't difficult. Gov should just get it done.
We've got lawless driving on our roads with issues like ghost plates, cloned plates and people not receiving proportionate punishments for fatal driving offences. This has got to change. @crush_crime
Rest in Peace, Terry Bollea aka The Immortal Hulk Hogan 🕊️💐 To millions of little kids you were a childhood hero - myself included. In 1984, I gave you your “HULKSTER” headband back, in the locker room in Madison Square Garden - I was the lucky kid caught it when you threw it…
On @GBNEWS tonight talking about how crimes like shoplifting and theft are hitting record highs and hurting people hard - despite what others may claim
Day by day, week by week, we get constant and painful reminders of why we always need to be LOOKING FOR GROWTH. Tomorrow isn't good enough. We need to be rebuilding the British economy RIGHT NOW. Infrastructure. Energy. Housing. Time to get Britain growing again. LFG.🚀
Great to meet with the Looking for Growth group today to talk about how we end Britain’s decline ✊🇬🇧 @lfg_uk
Crime is at a record high and on the rise. The courts backlog is at a record high on the rise. But dozens of courtrooms are shut. Please. Make it make sense.
Some people would have you believe that crime is going down and it's nothing to worry about. Police recorded offences data released today proves otherwise. Shoplifting, theft, weapons offences at their worst in over 20 years. Politicians MUST make crushing crime a top priority.
Working class communities often bear the brunt of high crime & lawlessness, hence why sympathy for the tiny minority of people creating the majority of this crime is often found in those living in middle class areas that don’t have to actually live with it.
Dismissing the crime wave we are experiencing has become a signal of a certain "learned class". They have failed to listen to people and the crimes that surround them: phones stolen, shoplifting + increased threat of weapons. Record highs. Help us push back at @crush_crime

The real cost of crime isn't losing your phone or bike. It's always having to be watchful of your phone and bike. And paying more to insure it. It's having to move to somewhere else (further from your work) so you don't have to be so vigilant.
Crime is forcing all of us to change our behaviour to defend ourselves and our property. This is the wrong way around. We should not have to live in fear criminals. We need empowered and well-led police that can catch criminals and jail them.
Rachel Reeves claims that gutting the planning bill of anything that makes it easier to build is WORTH IT because it'll save two months in Parliamentary scrutiny! What is a couple of months compared to the YEARS of delays this will cause in the broken planning system?

The government has given in to the Vegetable Lobby. Watch this and share. We need to be loud and clear. x.com/pursuitofprog/…
PLANNING EMERGENCY🚨 Government is clearly scared of the well-funded Vegetable Lobby... so the government is JUST GIVING IN. LFG is fighting against this madness. We already made government back down once. We need to be LOUD and clear to politicians: this can't happen!
Figures released today show Britain down 1,300 police officers since a year ago. Particularly acute in the Met which saw a net loss of 1,002 constables since 2024. Police are in a recruitment crisis because of a broken justice system that won't lock up career criminals.

Today we have news that the Met has 1000 fewer constables this year. On the same day, no tweet, no plan, no emergency response from the Mayor's office. He does what PM's do when struggling - he focuses on foreign affairs. (graph @rorygeo)
Put aside what you think about this issue - is this something the *Mayor of London* should be focusing on? Maybe he should concentrate on phone theft (highest on record), shoplifting (highest on record), cleaning the tube (not calling volunteers criminals). Don't know!
