Sarah Coombes for West Bromwich
@SarahCoombesWB
Labour MP for West Bromwich constituency including West Brom, Great Barr, Yew Tree, Oldbury, Tividale and Rowley 🌹
First day in the new office. I won’t let you down West Brom!

🌹 It's always a pleasure being out speaking to residents with our brilliant Labour team across West Brom.

Recently I visited the enfinium plant on Kenrick Way in West Bromwich, which is creating jobs in West Brom and improving how we best use our waste here in Britain! If you're a local business and you want to arrange a visit please contact: [email protected]

I entered politics to make a difference and I want to make West Brom better for everyone, including students at our local schools so they can build their future lives in our communities.
🌳 Plum trees in Tamebridge! 🌞 On a walkabout with councillors about antisocial bikes in Tamebridge we came across an amazing plum tree on a beautiful day.

🏀 Recently I met fantastic coaching staff and team members from West Bromwich Basketball Club, which provide a really important extra-curricular activity for young people across the borough!

This morning I spoke to @sarahjradio on the breakfast show @bbcwm about how I'm campaigning to make our roads safer and save lives in the West Midlands.
I'm delighted to support this latest campaign from @LocalTrust. Our Big Local in West Bromwich has made a hugely positive impact on the lives of people who live in the area. Find out more about the campaign here > bit.ly/46rMaiH

Nothing beats a Jet2 holiday. And right now, @UKLabour’s introducing #votesat16 That’s four votes for a family with two sixth formers!
At 16 you can have a job, pay taxes, enrol in the army and leave home. But you can't vote. We are changing that. By the next election we will ensure that the voting age is lowered to 16. This is the biggest reform to democratic participation in over a decade. What do you think?
Would you let someone you love get in a car which was untraceable? My national campaign to crack down on ghost number plates has been picking up pace. @crush_crime
📝 A story from the House of Commons chamber...
My fellow Black Country MPs and I are proud to represent all our constituents in Parliament as we marked a very special #BlackCountryDay yesterday

❤️ What do you love about the Black Country? 🎉 Happy Black Country Day, everyone! #BlackCountryDay
Recently I visited @EMRmetal in Oldbury who find new ways to transform today’s materials into tomorrow’s, supporting the recycling of metals so they can be reused again in the future! Thank you to the @bmra_uk for facilitating the visit!

Happy Black Country Day! #BlackCountryDay

Happy Black Country day. Be proud of our history heritage and flag. #BlackCountryDay
🏍️ Antisocial bikes are ruining our communities. On Tamebridge estate they have been causing havoc. 🌹It was great to see a new gate installed by the local Labour team. 🤝 Residents were very happy with this change and had already reported a positive change!

After a brilliant Friday meeting communities, businesses and schools I was glad to be at Aneta's Kitchen having a bite and a lovely cuppa. We have such brilliant local, independent businesses in West Brom and beyond.

Would you let someone you love get in a car which was untraceable? My national campaign to crack down on ghost number plates has been picking up pace. Last week in West Brom partners like the police, council and DVSA identified many drivers for issues like ghost number plates.

We have many strong local beauty businesses across West Brom, Great Barr and Oldbury. We should celebrate their economic contribution and recognise how they support our local economies.
