Very nice.
We don't have to live in a tatty dirty town street or city, it's not inevitable it has to be this way . We can clean up and restore, we can defeat vandalism.

We are at present imperfect: We are neither ready nor prepared, so we are readying and preparing ourselves.
The system is broken, breaking further and in collapse. What happens if another global recession strikes? Or more wars? What then? We aren't ready. We aren't prepared.
There is a yin and a yang to many things. Good things must be present (yang) and bad things absent (yin). Good things, or good stuff, obviously include wealth: why we want economic growth. Bad stuff is graffiti, litter, and public ugliness - but few are worse than crime.
Increased police patrols will make little difference if you don't jail the career criminals responsible for those crimes.

There's been a 44% rise in street crime, record levels of shop theft and a million incidents of anti-social behaviour. We refuse to accept this for our towns. This summer, police forces are increasing targeted patrols to protect businesses from harm and increase public safety.
10 courtrooms at the Old Bailey are empty all day today. The courts backlog is at a record high and rising. Not enough urgency is being applied by government to resolve this.

We're spending £110bn on debt interest. If that were a government department it would be the 4th largest by spend. The last time it was this expensive to borrow (30yr gilts), I was 6 years old. Yet in June the govt borrowed more money than in any June ever, bar Covid. Insane.
And the Chapter launched tonight! Talking @BarnetFC stadium relocation and how we can take the fight to those who block a new football stadium because its floodlights might disturb the wildlife. Get in contact with [email protected] if you want to get involved!
Barnet Councillors join the Vegetable Lobby in trying to block a new football stadium because its floodlights might disturb the wildlife. Let's end this culture of decline. Join us for the launch of LFG Chapter: Barnet on the 22nd July👇
Correct ideology.
Obviously the adverts are selected for me, but. Interesting that a train station is the selling point of houses (not actually that close to a train station unless they are building Horsforth Woodside station).
Was just on a call with @lfg_uk Manchester Chapter at a planning session for their future local campaigns. I'm blown away by the talent of people that give their time to LFG, to push against decline and save this country. Thanks for inviting me to join the call @LFGManchester!
And we are done! Thanks to all attendees and see you at Bibis in a fortnight!

One's been posting non-stop about our Very Important Official Chapter Launch.. But if you want to meet up in person and just chat informally, our #4 meetup is on the 22nd of July! In that mighty bearer of grand ideas, Wetherspoons (Cuthbert Brodrick) lu.ma/wnf5nt6n.
Coffee-houses were where were brewed daring, revolutionary thoughts. Think Enlightenment London or fin-de-siecle Vienna. Their modern successor is an incubator of conceptions on scale grander far: Wetherspoons. The conceiver of civilisation. Be there, this evening. 👇

The best things in life might be free, but the good stuff costs money! That's why we're so loud and noisy about Growth!
Britain is trapped in a doom loop where most of the eye-watering amount we borrow goes towards paying interest on the same debt. The best way out of that trap? Growth. Politicians should be making growth their number one priority and pulling every "growth lever" they can find.
