One lightning strike in NJ killed a man and injured over a dozen other ppl Wed night. I analyzed the storm on @foxweather and found the lightning strike which was miles away from where the storm was. Crazy bad luck

The scale is what gets me. If you take a moment to watch cumulus towers blow up into city-sized storms like this and try to fathom the sheer size and energy involved, it's incredible.

The window seat on a plane is an incredible modern blessing. Imagine our ancestors getting to take in such a view. They would have been stunned, speechless. And yet, some close the shade and do what? My God. I can't understand those who shut the shade, and shut out the world.
