Everyday in July so far has been at or cooler than average. Currently, we are at the 11th coolest July on record. We have yet to reach 100° in July. If we get through July w/ out breaking 100° that would be the first time since 2010. In 2010, we also had no 100° heat in June.
And the drought continues to improve!! Here's a look at this week to last week's drought monitor. 2 weeks ago, there was "Exceptional" drought in a good chunk of Gillespie Co., Now? Gillespie Co. is drought free, with just some spots featuring abnormally dry conditions.
Lake Travis has now risen over 35 ft since the beginning of July and is 87% full.

4 PM Monday - Lake Travis has now risen 29.95 feet in the past 2 weeks. The lake will continue to rise as flood waters from the Llano River and releases from Lake Buchanan are passed down the highland lake chain into Travis. #kvue #atxwx
