New Leader of Thurrock Conservatives is 25 and running a pro-housing platform 🚀 If younger leaders is what it takes to break the decline, then it’s time to start skipping a generation.

"Tories need to remake the argument for conservatism and capitalism...and build more homes. They must also cut red tape to enable Britain to build vital infrastructure to inculcate a new generation of optimism" Very encouraging stuff from James last year 👇
🚨Big stuff Founder of Labour YIMBY - Chris Worrall crosses the aisle. Chris is one of the most knowledgable, passionate housing activists I know. He gets it: business as a force for good; the power of free markets; controlled migration… Welcome to the Conservative family.

One of the team who post to my X account accidentally pressed like on an awful antisemitic tweet earlier today. I apologise for this. The post also refers to “brown savages”, and is equally racist against me. Clearly it was not intentional. The amount of antisemitism and…

When Labour negotiates, Britain loses out. Only @KemiBadenoch and the @Conservatives have a clear plan to sort out asylum and immigration.

The triple lock contributes to unsustainable public finances. It’s clearly wrong to penalise hardworking people with higher tax to pay it. The £15.5 bn cost by 2030 (3x assumed at introduction in 2011) is unaffordable. The triple lock must go 👇 bbc.com/news/articles/…
This is a lie. In the GE campaign, the @Conservatives announced the Triple Lock Plus - meaning the state pension and pensioners tax-free personal allowance would both rise in line with the triple lock.
'One might say, pensioners should be on their knees kissing his feet.' 84-year-old Roger thinks Keir Starmer had a 'completely disastrous' first year, but is surprised when Matthew Wright reveals the Tories were planning to bring the state pension into the taxable threshold.
The MSM currently forgetting the months they spent slating @trussliz in 2022
It was thoroughly unpleasant and Badenoch should have a look at herself.
