その意味で、歴史認識の面では先の戦争が日本の侵略戦争だったことを認めながら、現状認識の面では防衛力強化を主張してきた石破茂は日本の政界では珍しい存在だった気がする。
これは決して沖縄の問題でなく、日本の問題である。先の戦争が日本の侵略戦争だったことを右派は認めず、当時の名目や体質をなおも正当化する言動さえ見られる。そういった状況で南西シフトなど防衛強化が進む。一方左派は現状を直視しない批判しかできない。この状況でまともな議論ができるわけない。

楽しみにしていた『ソグド語文書を読む』が届きました。例の臨川書店さんの入門書と併せて、世界でも類を見ないソグド語の学習環境が整いつつあります。そして、1があるということは少なくとも企画としては2があるということなので、余計に楽しみですね。
「年収÷所在地でのつけ麺一杯の価格」で計算される「つけ麺指数」で国際比較すれば日本の大学教員の待遇はおそらく世界最高。
「海外ではそんな好き放題に食レポなどできんぞ」と知り合いに言われて、各地の外食費と現地人の給与水準などいくらか調べた。 結論から言えば、東アジアの大都市はほぼ最強ではないか。特に東京は安い外食費との相対で世帯年収がかなり高く、これやはり一番いいんじゃないか。

左派にとっての九条幣原発案説は基本的に右派にとってのパールハーバー＝ローズベルト陰謀説のようなものなので、多分説得は不可能。
憲法が話題になっているので、ザッと「憲法 幣原」とかで調べると、護憲の方々の間では九条幣原発案説がかなり浸透しているように見える。のっぴきならない政治状況は分かるが、歴史学の成果を無視する運動の先に未来はない。
