My Heritage helped me retrief a most unreachable family past. That is before the Cultural Revolution, peehaps in 1963-64, when my grandparents were in their prime, and my dad was as old as my son now, a very cute and handsome toddler. Family of 邢汝恩, 玉门 oil in Shanghai.

Very happy with my research today about German science at MPI!

Thanks to MPI this is my second time visiting this great city with complicated and multilayered historical heritages of modern history, in nation-building, nationalism and conflicted ideologies. Dahlem is already a second homeland, while the history of Berlin is yet unfolding.

Seeing off a great friend today in Gottingen. We are both from SH, both did PhD in the US. The friendship we developed in Gottingen, Wurzberg and Einbecker is a cherished experience. Friendship lightens up our long journey in the darkness. Gottingen, a great city of knowledge!
