Agree competent managing agents will still be needed under Commonhold but to slur all LHs as wanting something for nothing is out of order. We have evidence in @NLC_2019 of very successful RTM buildings where LHs understand the real cost of services opposed to MA made up ones

Hi @AlexJJNorris ⚠️ There are hundreds of thousands of us who live in blocks with fire safety defects. As Building Safety Minister, can you pls get your team to post a warning so people don't do barbecues on their balconies? Our safety should be part of @mhclg priorities.

Eight years on from the Grenfell Tower tragedy we remember the 72 people who lost their lives and keep in our thoughts those who lost loved ones, the survivors and immediate community. We must ensure what happened at Grenfell Tower is never forgotten and never happens again.

If a building is in the Developer Contract, you'd think the developer is obliged to pay for a waking watch / alarm if their assessments say interim measures are needed. Nope. Leaseholders are still forced to pay for the useless waking watch 👇🏼 This is "justice" the @mhclg way.

Industry blames BSR resource. The BSR says 70% of applications are inadequate. @Keir_Starmer says he's someone responsible for building safety. But backs the builders and wants to tear up red tape. Leaseholders & residents left trapped in the middle. History repeats itself.
