Helping to keep Quality of Life and intersection enforcement a priority in NYC. Independent and not aligned to any party.
I’m just wondering when the media @ABC7NY @kemrichardson7 will stop quoting @TransAlt. They’ve fought enforcement, helmet compliance, licensing, and accountability for red-light running for cyclists. Yet, this special interests group gets the megaphone… abc7ny.com/post/cyclists-…
This is not accurate. There is gridlock all over midtown due to reduced travel lanes and closed streets. They removed a turning lane off the 59th St bridge which is causing 30 min delays. They slowed the lights on Third Ave causing congestion. Why do they continue to gaslight?
🚦Less traffic. Cleaner air. Faster commutes. Safer streets. Thanks to congestion pricing, NYC has: ✅ 67k fewer cars ✅ Subway & bus ridership up ✅ Traffic deaths down ✅ $15B for transit upgrades This is progress — and we’re just getting started.
Make it 40 fold.

“Let’s build more ultra luxury buildings for billionaires to park their cash instead of telling the developer to create more units”. you also want 3rd ave to be 10mph to manufacture more congestion = expanded congestion pricing = uber makes more money so we’re right on target.
MTA SHRUGS OFF ITS $900M/YR FARE EVASION PROBLEM WHILE TAXING EVERYTHING IN SIGHT One man looked both ways, braced himself and then smoothly jumped the arm of the turnstile before politely asking other commuters, “Want me to open the door for you?” amny.com/nyc-transit/br…
I think that @NYCMayor should ask for @NYC_DOT 's Commissioner's resignation. DOT has consistently ignored the public, forging ahead with artery clogging redesigns with zero public input. Meanwhile, they struggle mightily with the basic functions of transportation from broken…
This has become a bigger problem in the neighborhood. @NYPD19Pct they are going it at night and during the day. More foot patrols may be needed.
Asked the service dealer at Toyota if he was seeing lots of people with their wheels being stolen. He said yes, there are a lot more. I asked how much more. He said so much that the tires/rims are on backorder! @enforcelawsNYC @NYPDPC @KeithPowersNYC @NYPD19Pct @andrewcuomo…
Open primaries are long overdue.
NYC democracy loses again: Charter Revision Commission wrongly shies away from open primaries trib.al/827UMeY
Just want to put it out there that New York is the highest taxed state in the country with one-party rule. Those taxes are the burden all of us have to live and struggle with. Just in case anyone forgot…
All seven of New York’s GOP members of Congress callously voted for cuts that will devastate millions of New Yorkers. They turned their backs on the very people they were elected to serve. @RepPatRyanNY and I won’t. Not now. Not ever.
The horse deserved better. The jury should have done better. Animals have no voice, so penalties should be stiff and accountability consistent so that creatures that walk this Earth with us aren’t abused. This story bothered me in 2022 and bothers me more today.
The jury of six people acquitted Ian Mckeever of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals after deliberating for less than an hour >> cbsloc.al/4l0efBC
Ummm @NYCTSubway can you clean the human 💩 on the stairs of the 86th St and Lexington Ave station? People have stepped on it and there are footprints going down the stairs and through the corridor. Highly unsanitary conditions.
The driver was a criminal & shouldn’t have had the opportunity to be behind the wheel. No surprise @TransAlt is using a tragedy caused by a repeat felon to try & shut down a major thoroughfare. There is no tragedy they won’t exploit for their benefit. nydailynews.com/2025/07/20/dri…
“A driver lost control of his car Sunday morning and slammed into a food truck and TD Bank at the same Manhattan intersection where one day earlier a cyclist and woman sitting on a bench were run down by a car…” It’s past time to #fixcanal
The removal of a turning lane off the 59th St Bridge on 62nd St still has not been rectified. Traffic is backed up all the way onto the Queens side of the bridge. It is stunning that this has not been rectified by @NYC_DOT.
The situation on 62nd St is so bad thanks to @NYC_DOT manufacturing congestion by removing a left-turn lane that it made the @nypost. They’ve created gridlock and @vinbarone refuses to acknowledge the reality they’ve caused. nypost.com/2025/05/31/us-…
Thank you NYPD for enforcing cyclists to follow the rules of the road. Cyclists have roamed recklessly free from consequences for far too long in NYC. Safety starts with everyone. #EnforceNYCCyclists
Heavy traffic in both directions on the country’s busiest protected bike lane along the Hudson River Greenway. Manhattan Borough President and Comptroller hopeful @MarkLevineNYC hopes to build two more bike lanes to handle the overflow.
I have an idea. Since bike lanes, double-wide bike lanes, and 15mph “Green Wave” lights have manufactured congestion maybe cyclists should pay a $5 Congestion Tax. They do use the road. You want everyone to pay @Streetfilms. I know you’ll agree.
Should be $12 or $15. Imagine how much better NYC would be if we did it now instead of waiting?
Deputy Communications Director of @GovKathyHochul celebrating the further taxation upon the people to “fund” the monetary abyss which is the MTA. Countless New Yorkers are losing thousands from the cash grab while causing more manufactured congestion by closing streets.
One of the great things about congestion pricing is it allows for the reimagining of city streets, especially where foot traffic is highest. Very cool seeing what @MeatpackingNY is up to on one of the city's most vibrant retail and tourism corridors.
Once again @NYC_DOT autonomously causing more congestion. Pretty sure people on Staten Island didn’t ask for 20mph grids.
“A lower speed limit of 20 MPH in an area of Staten Island’s North Shore has gone into effect as part of the city’s effort to slow traffic and keep pedestrians safe.”
Me and two buddies crossing Third Ave and a cyclist blows through the red light. One of the guys tells him to stop at reds. Cyclist gives the finger and proceeds to turn around and try and start an altercation. This is what peds deal with every day @CB8M @TransAlt
There is no “Congestion Relief” zone. It’s a farce & the only goal is to extract money from drivers to fill MTA coffers. On top of that, manufactured congestion continues with closed streets, reduced travel lanes, and pedestrian “paths” on major avenues. @lawler4ny @NMalliotakis
The irony of an MTA Emergency Response vehicle being unable to move through traffic in the so called Congestion Relief Zone where we pay not to deal with this
