The subways are heavily subsidized and should cost $17-$20 per trip to cover costs. I guess you want those subsidies removed too.
Coming up to a @CitiBikeNYC station and 5 kids are hanging out with some of their bikes positioned in the docks. I hear one of them say to the others, “Watch out here comes grandpa on a CitiBike.” Followed by laughter. I laughed too. The kids smiled.

visited amanda servedio’s bike today while in astoria. one of those ford sedans that’s not NOT an unmarked cop car decided to run the red while i was still crossing the street. we have so much more work to do, so what happened to amanda never happens to another new yorker.

Each time I bike over now I stop and tell a pedestrian or runner and they’re ecstatic about the news of the ped only path on other side. But the most recent time I told 2 male joggers and they got angry with me and insisted they have a right to run on the path. @NYC_DOT when?
This pathway over the Queensboro Bridge has been bike-only for over a month now. Yet still no new green paint or seemingly any cleaning—on a major transportation corridor. A modern city would have this gleaming, especially in the wake of congestion pricing. What gives, @NYCMayor?
