1/ Now the embargo has lifted, I’ve had time to read the @lengreview in full. While some celebrate minor cosmetic wins, I see the formal entrenchment of a parallel, underqualified medical workforce — built without medical training.
How dare you suggest that we have “disdain for patients”. This is why I couldn’t bring myself to vote for this dreadful Labour Party in the last election, because of absolute clowns like Wes Streeting who are frankly closet Tories. He should be absolutely ashamed. Get in the bin.
No credible offer then. Strikes inevitable.

If you are a PA who wants to see undifferentiated patients and act as a mid-level then get behind @UMAPsUK & continue to fight us If you are a PA who thinks your role may be beneficial in the areas outlined by @lengreview then let's work together to build that narrative & vision
We were told that all PAs had a bioscience background Yet @CanterburyCCUni were canvasing prospective students telling them a first degree in health or medicine was not required It was the first thing they said when trying to sell the degree Utterly shameful

1. Trump says that the letter to Epstein is fake because the letter is "not the way I talk." Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the letter is "not at all how he speaks or writes." JD Vance said the same thing. Does the letter sound like Trump? I investigated.
An interesting thread And we owe a lot to the anons - many of whom have done painstaking research and FOIs which undoubtedly made a difference But I want to acknowledge those brave enough to show up and speak out without being anon - for many that has cost them a lot
1/n I want to say something about PAs. I don’t know yet if this will be long or short cause I am not psychic. What I do know is this: the situation has become a mess. Not just administratively. Not just professionally. But emotionally. And it’s going to leave scars.
Compelety agree - the meticulous and methodical analysis by many of the anon accounts has repeatedly proven to be better informed than the institutions they are challenging This is social media for good - holding people to account - the antithesis of “toxic social media”…
