GOP intentions for mid-decade redistricting TX: 5-6 seats OH: 1-3 seats MO: 1 seat Democrats have to respond or risk never being in government (or win narrowly in wave environments and never again)
Really wild how there are two housing markets now. If you live in the northeast or Midwest, prices are rising, everywhere around you. If you live in the south or west, prices are falling, everywhere around you. And if you live in Florida, the bottomβs falling out.
Tariffs arenβt instant inflation. Goods take a month at sea, another in customs, and more time in storage. Then you work through the storerooms that businesses filled ahead of time. Only then do new costs hit shelves. So yes, tariffs raise pricesβjust not right away.

Itβs funny to hear βthe area is already too dense and congestedβ as an argument for NIMBYism β if the area didnβt already have high rises, then weβd hear that the new building is βout of scale/characterβ Leaving you with no acceptable conditions for a new high rise

This is still highly illegal in 95% of U.S. residential neighborhoods.
I was mildly offended that I havenβt been getting candidate calls, but turns out that due to a clerical error I was not listed as a city delegate. I was elected as one though, and should be able to get that fixed. Iβm undecided for district 4 park board; D4 candidates call me!
