A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Iowa and Wisconsin until 9 PM CDT
Storms will also be capable of producing torrential rainfall which may result in instances of flash flooding this PM. The greatest flash flood threat will be north of I-80 and west of I-55 especially where heavy rainfall occurred yesterday. Turn around don't drown! #ILwx #INwx
The threat for severe weather is increasing across portions of northern IL this afternoon. Main hazards will be damaging winds and large hail, but brief tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Stay updated on the forecast this afternoon and have ways to get weather alerts! #ILwx #INwx

Wisconsin holds onto the quiet weather through the first half of Thursday, then be on the lookout for showers and storms starting in the afternoon (mainly for western Wisconsin). Additional storms may bring some isolated severe risks to the state on Friday. Enjoy the quiet!
