A significant judgment that would have been impossible pre Cass. A great step forward for protecting children - but what a shame we have had to spend so many years now to assert the obvious. And the throwaway line about the 'controversy' of the Cass Review, shows we still have…
*BREAKING* The Court has handed down a judgment today that extends protection for all under-18's when parents are in dispute about their child's treatment with cross-sex hormones. This is a step forward that recognises the court has a role to play in this area. We will post news…
This entire case hinges on the fact that Dr Upton is a man and is therefore not entitled to use the women’s changing room. One female NHS worker after another - presumably thinking this is the best way to protect their careers in the current climate - is falling over herself to…
NC - bc SP was guilty of heresy that DU is a man JR objects - offensive to do what NC is doing in particular to call DU a man. DU is not a man. Im concerned to the latitude given to NC to be so offensive in court. [Disagreement about the objection]
This is terrifying. These badges encourage children to identify themselves as potential targets for predatory sex offenders. Because they have bern groomed to believe and trust any man who says he is a woman and needs protection. Creepy creepy creepy @BBCNews @bphillipsonMP @BBC
A 'non-binary' BBC presenter has launched a project in which she distributes badges, saying 'Safe With Me', in schools, for children to wear in public places. They will signify to any 'trans people' nearby that the child will escort them to a toilet swlondoner.co.uk/news/23072025-…

referred to as he/him. Its clearly discombobulating the witness and im concerned she cant give best evidence. I ask u to note my concerns and ask NC to reflect on her language used in court J - [to NC] do u want to sya anything, time to reflect? NC - no
I'm only just catching up with @tribunaltweets & yet I have finished the day with my jaw hanging open & steam coming out of my ears. How Naomi Cunningham hasn't torn the room apart in fury I do not know. Her calm in the face of abject, sanctimonious stupidity is a thing of wonder
It is amazing that they all knew they had a rabid, racist, homophobic, trans hating nurse neglecting her duties, putting lives at danger working in A&E, but no one thought to mention it until she didn't want to take her clothes off in front of a male colleague...
When Dr Searle became upset, Jane Russell KC castigated Naomi Cunningham’s lack of “people skills”. Not only was the irony marked. I have no hesitation in saying that no counsel should ever say that to another in open court. And for a silk to say it to a junior is unforgivable.
The Sandie Peggie employment tribunal is currently exposing, as perhaps no court case to date has, the issue of class as it relates to the top-down imposition of gender identity ideology in the workplace. 'Diversity officer' Isla Bumba has now admitted in court that she didn't…
The only thing I regret in my 18 month battle with my regulator was protesting when they said I didn’t care how my words made people feel. I should have said - no. I don’t care. It’s not my problem how other people react to the lawful expression of my protected speech. It is very…
Jane R objected to Naomi Cunningham’s language, insisting “Dr Upton is not a man” & she was “very concerned about the latitude being given to Ms Cunningham to be so offensive”. In other words, objecting to the issue the case hinges on: that Upton is male. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/07/2…
'Kind' hasn't meant kind for a long time; it means submissive, compliant and collaborative with a totalitarian ideology.

I heard this and it was rather longer than this suggests. This was a substantial intervention by Jane Russell referring to the May 2025 edition of what she referred to as the Equal Treatment Bench Book (it turned out to be the England and Wales Bench Book). She repeated her claim
JR - I notice the witness is getting confused with pronouns [reads from bar standards benchbook] says u should use pronouns that are preferred. I say NC constant misgendering is creating a hostile environment and witnesses not used to hearing DU
We should be respectful of people. We should respect ideas that are worthy of respect. We should obey the law. We should be honest and truthful. We should not be cruel (unless compelled to by the law or our desire to be truthful). Kindness can get in the bin.
HR are not having a nice day Melanie Jorgensen points out that Esther cannot be the investigating officer because Sandie Peggie did raise her concerns about a man in the changing room with Esther on two occasions and Esther did nothing Remember - NHS Fife's latest tack is to…
"Heresy hunt" was accepted and reused in the judgment on Adams v ERCC.
Naomi Cunningham arguing that the Board's treatment of Sandie Peggie was because they believed her to be a heretic. A discussion about the word 'heresy' and its use is now continuing.
Really…??? 🚩🚩🚩

If any participant to tribunal proceedings is 'upset' or 'confused' by something the Judge rule at the outset was permissible, that is very much their problem and their responsibility to deal with in a manner that does not disrupt or delay the proceedings.
J - see how we get on. NC - long digretion, qu was reason SP had to be punished for heresy, JR on instruction, for not adhering. AG- disagree NC - JR says you have been confused/upset by correct sex pronouns, cutting across your use of F pronouns. Am I right you've not been
If any opponent objected to my use of language on the basis that I was not 'kind' then my response would certainly be very unkind indeed. It is ridiculous to say that it is an article 6 or 8 breach to call a man, a man. We have to stop pandering to this.
JR - don't believe there's been asymmetry, but Bench book contains how we should treat eachother in a prof context. When we are working together, not just right we treat eachother in accordance, it's also kind. nothing further to say. NC - nothing to add J - ask the qu, slowly
In a sane world a regulator would agree that it was a risk to the profession if a member of it was denying the reality of biological sex and a Supreme Court judgment. But of course, with regard to gender identity we do not live in a sane world and every regulator of which I am…
An actual Kings Council, against all scientific evidence, with no legal requirement to do so, is insisting that a man is a woman. @SVPhillimore, to your knowledge would this be a grounds for a complaint to the bar standards board?
The road will be long and hard. People would rather appeal to AI than read a Supreme Court judgment. I idly asked Grok a legal question yesterday. It very confidently gave me a very wrong answer. But I am glad to see we agree on this at least.
@grok is it legal to discriminate on somthing that isn’t a protected charaistic in the uk?
It’s going to be a long and hard struggle to return to sanity. But I am committed to restoring it.
I don’t have a GRC, does that mean I don’t have a sex then? If the definition of sex is having a GRC, then only about 9000 people in the UK have a sex. Do you know how stupid you sound?
