We tried in 2015 and what we were doing was newsworthy. But the media had already helped to co-create the 'transgender child' and they bear great responsibility for shaping the narrative the public were allowed to hear.

This is a safeguarding disaster. Any school staff that distribute these badges to children - encouraging them to accompany adults to the toilet on request- need to be reported to the school’s designated safeguarding lead and the local authority’s child protection department.

A predator's dream. Any school promoting these badges is actively grooming young girls to put themselves in risky situations with adult men. The badge signals her out as an easy target for paedophiles who can exploit her because they know half their job has already been done.
