I am proud to say I’m no longer prepared to pay for people that don’t go to work and just sponge off the country , I’m also proud to say, I left the UK because of this .
People who don’t want to pay their fair share of tax will justify with all sorts of reasons for not doing so. Including the reason you give.
If you can’t afford the NHS you can’t have it. End of story. They were right #BMA1948
Another examples where a centrally planned system thwarts the ability of prices to allocate resources to their most highly valued use and so produces chaos and waste mises.org/library/book/p…
Weasel words. Usurpers, Fifth Columnists, cunning cheats, shortcut to ‘treat’ humans. Based on gullibility. Existing SOLELY due to political mendacity. Affecting role u DO NOT deserve and have not earned. Cosplayers. Lip service to concept of ‘supervision’. Too lazy or too thick.
25% of the working age population of the UK are too lazy to work and instead are rewarded with taxpayer benefits. They become obese and then burden the NHS. We can remove this 25% of the public from any discussion about doctor pay - they have no right to speak.
This person destroys any logic for Physician Assistants in 40 seconds
Think of it like this. The government and citizens have a contract that the government will procure healthcare. The government is refusing to pay for healthcare. The government is breaking their contract with citizens.
Yes it’s a very bad salary for a consultant doctor. Get rid of the NHS and then you’ll see how much doctors cost, and you won’t like it.
A certain NHS trust has gotten rid of all the water coolers because the cost of the service contract was too high. Have to walk to the other side of the hospital to buy cold water or find the single water cooler that hasn't been taken away. Fuck the NHS.
Lets face it. The use of PAs has been an evil experiment on the sick, without a protocol, without Ethics permission and without patient consent. A criminal offence. @mjauk
There is no justification for having non-doctors in a practice whilst refusing fully qualified doctors. FY2s need to be added to ARRS or PCN should be abolished and GPs allowed to staff their practices appropriately @rcgp @Parody_RCGP @doctor_katie @DrHFRyan
If @DHSCgovuk are telling us that restoring residents’ pay would cut down the funding available to other services, what they are actually telling us is that the gradual erosion of resident’s pay had been funding these other services to begin with.
Interesting quote Maybe it’s time for @DHSCgovuk to explain to taxpayers why they’ve taken money from doctors pay and training in order to pay our assistants 30% more than us 🤔 The budget is finite. So why are we spending it on staff who can’t even prescribe paracetamol?
Let’s be honest, the NHS isn’t a market. It’s a government-run monopoly. So when junior doctors ask for a 29% pay rise, the usual question, “are they worth it?” doesn’t really apply. There’s no price discovery in the NHS. No competition. No patient choice. Just central planning,…
Labour thinks it’s “a really good result” that doctors - among the highest achieving people in the country - are paid 30% less than their own assistants. @UKLabour is against aspiration.
I think there is little point in asking the GMC anymore They have decided that Doctors =PA /AA - let's see how @lengreview interprets it It's out job as a collective to explain to the public that they are not. Safety is paramount Hubris of a few is not.
Perhaps the Chestertons should refer him to the GMC for issues with probity?
With regards to introducing a scope of practice for associate staff, Mr de la Mare says that the GMC's position is that it is 'outside of its remit to do so' an argument that he describes as 'extraordinary'.
The man who burned a Koran has been charged. It’s difficult to see how this isn’t enforcing blasphemy law, rebadged for the current year.
The problem with such posts is it fails to distinguish the fact that NHS has both medical and administrative staff. The pension may be completely unwarranted for the admin staff but is completely justified for the specialist consultants. You really think £100K is too much for…
