When Conservatives talk about cuts, this is what they mean. Cancel the bridges we’re building. Halt the hospitals underway. Abandon people in communities desperate for new services. Now is the time to build more — not less.
This is lunacy. Transportation Critic @HarmanBhanguBC says the BC Conservatives would make cuts by stopping infrastructure projects that are already underway - starting with the Pattullo Bridge, which is almost complete. 1/3🧵
This is wildly out of touch with people in Surrey. If they’re willing to stop a bridge that’s almost done, what wouldn’t they cancel? The SkyTrain? The Hospital & Cancer Centre? New schools? Their ideas aren’t about “saving money” - they’re about leaving Surrey behind. Again.

This initiative is a quiet juggernaut. Already it has saved 1,500+ units of quality housing, protecting them from being bought up by investors for demolition or massive rent hikes. That's thousands of families who can sleep a little easier knowing their home is safe.
We’re helping people stay in affordable homes in the community they love. With 45 rental homes protected in Richmond, people can continue to live near their families, their jobs and the activities they enjoy. @TikvaHousing news.gov.bc.ca/32569 @RentalProFund
We’re working hard to build infrastructure that makes peoples lives better and improve our communities. The Conservatives want to cancel major projects that people need, including ones that are almost done! We can’t afford BC Conservative cuts.
Woke up to wonderful news. Kevin, Darian and Jesse are safe and sound! Tremendously thankful for the heroic work of the rescue team. The three drillers demonstrated remarkable courage over the 60+ hours of being trapped underground – now, finally reunited with their loved ones.
I can’t describe the relief we all feel knowing that these three workers are going to be able to go home to their families. My sincere thanks go out to everyone who worked tirelessly to make this rescue happen! facebook.com/share/p/16vevZ…
I joined BC Premier @Dave_Eby today to say that WA state and Canada's bonds will outlast Donald Trump. 🇺🇸🇨🇦 Trump's tariffs are raising costs on both sides of the border for NO REASON. It's past time Republicans help end Trump's nonsense tariffs. murray.senate.gov/senator-murray…
From forestry workers in BC to small business owners in Washington State, Trump’s actions hurt workers and families on both sides of the border. Thank you, Senator @PattyMurray, for joining me today in standing against these tariff threats. We’re better when we work together.
Born nasty
WATCH: B.C. Premier David Eby says most Canadians would be 'proud to be considered mean and nasty' if it means protecting Canadian sovereignty, in response to Trump's ambassador's comments on tense Canadian-U.S. relations. vancouver.citynews.ca/video/2025/07/…
BC and Manitoba are knocking down trade barriers so our goods can flow back and forth with ease, while ensuring our workers are protected. @WabKinew (1/2)
Harman are you saying no Conservative MLAs or staff will take any days off this summer and none of you will be enjoying a drink in the sun? If you oppose efforts to buy Canadian then say so. Attacking someone for spending time with their family in BC is pathetic.
Must be nice to sip BC wine on a Gulf Island while British Columbians can’t afford gas, groceries, or rent. Champagne socialists brag about the good life—while working families fall FURTHER BEHIND. Conservatives won’t rest. We’ll keep FIGHTING for those getting left behind.
Wedad Bishara says she's seen more clients interested in exploring Canada this year than in her three previous decades as a travel agent based in Vancouver, B.C. biv.com/news/canadians…
Imagine being so obsessed with attacking your opponents for being "socialists" that you accidentally criticize them for buying BC wine and vacationing locally Same guy who couldn't bring himself to condemn Trump's tariffs and skipped the vote

These “mean and nasty” Canadians are increasing trade between themselves to be less reliant on the US.

“B.C. saw the largest decline in its crime severity index score out of all the provinces and territories in Canada, declining 11 per cent in 2024 compared to 2023.”
British Columbia has reached a trade agreement with Ontario. This will make it easier for people to work in both provinces, provide producers easier access to markets, while giving consumers more choice.
Our province has everything we need to drive Canada’s economy. Looking forward to working with Canada’s Premiers and Prime Minister Carney over the next few days.

Today, we signed a groundbreaking agreement with First Nation and Hereditary Chief partners to develop the North Coast Transmission Line and deliver clean power to the North. Together, we created a new partnership model - one that will see First Nations as project co-owners.
Our workers are resilient, working through industry hardship, wildfires & more. Now Trump is trying to hit them even harder, with economic attacks. But he can’t stop BC forestry. Because we’re going to stand up & fight back for our workers. Just like they always do. #BCForests
With everything happening south of the border, B.C. has a unique opportunity to welcome some of the best and brightest doctors. In just two months, B.C. has received nearly 780 job applications from qualified health professionals across the U.S. #bchealthcare
