Our province depends on resilient infrastructure, supply chain efficiency and public transit that responds to the growing needs of our population and economy. Thanks Greater Vancouver @BoardofTrade for the invitation to speak about these critical topics this morning. @TRANBC

Earlier this month, I visited the new Steveston Interchange and the site of the new Fraser River Tunnel. It was fantastic to see the progress they're making on these transformative projects which will meet the transportation & goods movement needs of this growing region. #BCHwy99

Many thanks to the Surrey Langley SkyTrain team, who showed me the impressive progress being made on this project. SLS is providing good jobs and building infrastructure to meet the transit needs of people in Surrey, Langley, and communities across Metro Vancouver. 🚄🚄

Broadway Subway Project crews are hard at work laying rail for the SkyTrain tracks. Using a mobile crane called a “speed swing,” crews carry pieces of rail longer than three Canadian football fields deep into the tunnels. @broadwaysubway_ @TRANBC broadwaysubway.ca

The bridge deck on the Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project is now connected from the main tower to the south bridge approach in #Surrey, moving this important project closer to completion. @pattulloproject @TRANBC pattullobridgereplacement.ca

What nonsense. Hardworking labourers from local company, Arsalan Construction Ltd. were doing this Highway 99 expansion work to add a fourth lane for buses that will tie into the new 8 lane, toll-free tunnel.
To add insult to injury, they had machinery moving dirt around on the Richmond side of the Massey Tunnel — pretending like construction has started for the Massey Tunnel Replacement! When it hasn’t! They don’t even have an architectural design for a construction-ready project!…
Communities across B.C. will soon benefit from enhanced active infrastructure, with 62 projects set to receive grants through the B.C. Active Transportation program. These grants are designed to improve community connections throughout the province. news.gov.bc.ca/32154
