Isn’t there legislation against this sort of thing? Upholding and defending our democracy is meant to be a big deal… 🤷🏾♀️
Anyone else hoping for a military coup? 🤷♀️
Today Ofsted has judged TWO children's homes run by the same company inadequate, with serious and widespread failures that mean children and young people are not protected. Take a bow, Dimensions Care Limited
This is outrageous. I want to be abundantly clear that the council were not informed of this and the first I heard was when someone sent me the social media link. If the Home Office wants to descend upon people in this way the least they can do is talk to local stakeholders.
Currently happening in wood green north london crack down on Uber and deliveroo drivers & immigration checks also
due to a series of deeply evil actions on columbia's part that i don't even have the heart anymore to go into, i'm without a teaching position in the fall and unemployed. if anyone knows of literally any kind of job opening anywhere, i'd be so grateful if you'd reach out.
Some of you are very early adopters… I remember the inhallable insulin… Good luck to you!
What this means in practice is that the police are now allowed to racially profile non white delivery drivers. I saw police pulling over every brown guy on a bike the other day while cycling through Peckham.
Our nationwide crackdown on illegal working means raids and arrests are up by 50%. And we won't stop there.
This report is a national embarrassment. Lambeth Labour have ignored years of warnings. That’s not incompetence — it’s contempt
Buying calpol was tough back then, because it was all being bought to send to Ukraine as aid.
I worked at Home Bargains in 2022 when Ukraine was getting attacked and it was common for people to come in to fill trollies full of food and supplies to send as aid. The absolute shame of this country that, with different skin colour, the mass outrage suddenly isn’t there.
Imagine Sudanese people eating boiled weeds with salt water just to stay alive, that is their FOOD. Sudan needs solidarity and support too!!
People in Sudan are boiling weeds with salt water because there’s nothing else to eat. One teacher even wrote a love poem to a wild plant that kept him and others alive. Let that sink in. The world has failed Sudan like no other. #KeepEyesOnSudan #EyesOnDarfur #EyesOnNuba
Kill shot ordered by Dame Cressida Dick. Sir Keir Starmer, ensured both her and her team, were not prosecuted. They would both be awarded with a Damehood and Knighthood years later.

Ok, possibly less bad /actually good news perhaps as a result of our lobbying. For the Severe Conditions Criteria, a diagnosis will count IF recorded in the NHS system i.e. recognised by the NHS. So a private autism or ADHD diagnosis will qualify IF your NHS GP has it on record.
Today marks the twentieth anniversary of the killing of Jean Charles de Menezes, an innocent Brazilian man going about his business in London's Stockwell Station, by Metropolitan Police marksmen commanded by Cressida Dick. This morning, family members, lawyers, campaigners,…

Thing is, it's not a strict behaviour policy It's selection by compliance SEND is expensive and bad for business, until the DfE grow a backbone and Ofsted stop regarding schools for being exclusive, big Trusts will keep gaming the system...
ITV News now reporting on story I've been writing about in recent weeks: "Strict behaviour policy blamed for 'exodus of 500 pupils' from Ark Alexandra Academy in Hastings. itv.com/news/meridian/…
Nike has never apologized for cutting Allyson Felix, Alysia Montaño, and Kara Goucher’s pays after their babies
Nike does it again 👏
In 3 years 472 pupils left "before the scheduled end of their time at the school." 28% had SEND; 39% had no alternative school to go to. All this is bad enough but I really hope it's not true staff were expected to issue 25 detentions each, every week. share.google/WmYCVRQtLO0ukJ…
NEW: The court did not find a breach of the law. BUT it upheld 2/3 points inc that foreign interference (inc disinfo) *is* a threat to fair elections (which UK had denied!) Lawyers say hugely significant judgement with far-reaching consequences. AND that an appeal should be…
NEW: Landmark decision on UK's failure to investigate Russian interference to be handed down tomorrow. A five-year legal battle in UK and European courts comes to a head: will we finally - learn the truth about the Kremlin & the Brexit vote?
The saddest part about Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s passing is that there’s a whole generation that will never see his early acting brilliance on the Cosby Show because of what that terrible man did. They won’t be able to watch reruns or watch it on streaming to truly appreciate him 🥺

When taking a position of leadership the question one should ask oneself is “do I want to be something, or do I want to do something?” It’s increasingly clear that Starmer wanted to job title, not the job. The country deserves better.
Starmer says at the Liaison Committee that the best thing about his first year in government was "walking into Downing Street," which says something about what happened afterwards.
