1/7 To help me write my autobiography, Conservative Campaign HQs prepared 4 pages of a dossier on me, my cases & membership of organisations, & sent it to the Sunday Sun, Express, Mail & Telegraph; A couple kindly sent me the dossier. What was interesting about it, is that over
The magnificent #Lionesses What a great team and fantastic win. Hooray for #Agyemang she was a saviour once again 🥳❤️#UEFA #EUROS
Today marks the twentieth anniversary of the killing of Jean Charles de Menezes, an innocent Brazilian man going about his business in London's Stockwell Station, by Metropolitan Police marksmen commanded by Cressida Dick. This morning, family members, lawyers, campaigners,…

What's the plan after we see 2 million people starved to death? Carry on as frauds stuffing our faces with the food from companies who funded it, cry watching sad fictional movies after we allowed the unspeakable to happen in real life, vote for the same monstrous parties?
In no world is this acceptable. In no world can this be justified - and yet, this is our world.
Last Friday I had the pleasure of viewing Misan Harriman's powerful exhibition of photographs of contemporary activism and campaigns, including on Gaza, Palestine, Black Lives Matter, Deaths in Custody and Grenfel, so it was a delight to stumble on his portraits from yesterday's…
Spot on from Jason Okundaye. A powerful exhibit comes from how the Windrush struggle has been fought and, fought over. The Diane Abbott row shows how impoverished Britain’s conversations about race have become | Jason Okundaye theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
Camilla left school with one O Level and later got fired from a secretarial job for being late. That was her career. Yet because of the man she married she’s Chancellor of a university.
We would like to wish Her Majesty the Queen and Chancellor of the University of Aberdeen our very best wishes on her birthday. #ABDNfamily @RoyalFamily
Woe betide any Black person who speaks about their lived experiences. #DianeAbbott not only condemns all forms of racism in this interview, her work with all communities over 50 yrs, 40 of which I have first hand experience of, including with Hackney's Jewish pop, is exemplary.
This is the clip of my interview.
Chap on LBC (Universal Credit story) just said he can't get a job (in the UK) as a 'binman' as the Ukranians have taken all the jobs. Initially he said he couldn't get a job because of the war in Europe but didn't seem to know where this war was until prompted by the presenter.…
I reported on the first known Afghan data breach back in August 2022. Now the British government has put a hundred thousand people's lives at risk. Unimaginable that this would turn out to be on such a scale. theguardian.com/politics/2022/…
What does 'from next year, 2 million immigrants could automatically claim British citizenship' actually mean? In 2024, 270,000 applied for citizenship (202,041 in 2023). Those eligible tend to apply. Is Ms Badenoch referring to one year, accumulating years, or out to confuse?
This should be treated as a hate crime and prevented from happening by @PoliceServiceNI There is no question in my mind - in the wake of the violence we have seen against asylum seekers - that this is incitement.
The top of this years Moygashel bonfire. This isn’t culture, this is pure hate.
The Notting Hill Carnival might have been saved for 2025 due to additional funding provided by the office of the Mayor of London, and two councils, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster for security. But the news that Culture Secretary, Lisa Nandy, refused…
A man has been arrested after portraits honouring the Windrush generation were vandalised in Brixton. The Met police says that the incident is not being treated as a hate crime. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
I’ve never seen a more British arrest video in my life, such sarcastic stoicism in the face of it all. Surreal. The man being arrested is Tim Crosland, a former government lawyer.
The number of people dying before getting compensation is increasing amongst Windrush victims too. The primary cohort are elderly & with claimants seeking reviews of initial offers, rightly so, claims can take 2/3 years & even longer. #WindrushScandal thetimes.com/uk/law/article…
Would someone please explain how depriving babies of formula milk is "self-defence"?
Irene Mbugua was a mum-of-4 from Kenya who came to the UK to do care work. Sadly she was found dead at the Birmingham home of one of her clients. He's been charged with her murder. I only found out about this on Facebook as her killing has had little publicity. May she RIP ❤️🙏🏾
I live in a country that gives military support to another country which is killing thousands of civilians while proscribing an organisation which protests about it.
Leigh Day's clients represented by me and Freya Danby are featured in this excellent ITV news item below (you have to navigate some adds first) with Antoine Allen. Just this morning, the ajudicator's office served notice that they have upheld an appeal for one of the men in…
