Yesterday, we went to @LGBTLabour's social which was held in place of its postponed AGM. There's a lot to reflect on. But one thing is clear: LGBT+ Labour isn't working. In place of action, we got small talk. In place of democracy, we got spin. This isn't working.
Really excited to speak at this fab event that myself and other LGBT+ activists have organised with South East Young Labour next Wednesday 30th July! Come along for a chat in Oxford about organising in the party 🏳️⚧️ Register using the below link 👇 us06web.zoom.us/meeting/regist…
The very fact that a gender-critical organisation such as @LabWomenDec endorses Ms Stephenson's appointment is clearly a concern not just to trans people but to all human rights advocates. @10DowningStreet @bphillipsonMP @AmnestyUK @libertyhq @ByDonkeys @Channel4News
"Bridget Phillipson... is set to overrule the women & equalities committee and the joint committee on human rights, whose members refused to endorse Stephenson as incoming chair of the EHRC" Sensible course of action by @10DowningStreet & @bphillipsonMP 1 thetimes.com/article/a7da1f…
Both teams played great. But as has always been the case for England, we stuck through it with pure grit and determination to come out on top. Come on England! 🏴🌹🥳 #ENGITA #Euros2025 #Lionesses
Jesus. Absolutely beautiful equaliser from Agyemang. My neighbours won't be too pleased. If Beever-Jones knocked in her opportunity I think I might have fainted. #Lionesses #ItsComingHome 🏴
@LGBTLabour still hasn’t sent us the Constitution after 140 days, but they had time to remove a member of the committee from their website after 20 minutes. It’s time to change LGBT+ Labour 🏳️⚧️ Join up now ready for their AGM: lgbtlabour.org.uk/lgbt_labour_fu…
It is legitimately sad to see how quickly the Secretary worked to remove Abe from the committee group chat and from our website. 20 minutes. He hasn't given us the constitution after asking 140 days ago, and it took him 20 minutes to reduce one of our best members to "vacant."
On 6/3/24, the BBC reported: "Kenwood Ladies' Pond Association (KLPA) rejected a motion proposing that "only those born female in sex can use the pond". But today, that vote is being attacked by the gender-criticals. We are standing up - please donate. gofundme.com/f/working-for-…

This was the replacement for the elections they cancelled. Thought I'd add that, since they still haven't mentioned that publicly. Follow @transalliance25 to vote them out at the earliest opportunity.
Thank you to Minister for Equalities @NiaGriffithMP for attending our brunch social today ☕️🥪 We welcomed recommitments on introducing a trans-inclusive ban on conversion practices as soon as possible, and to see through the bill to make LGBT+ hate crime an aggravated offence.
We’d hoped to be at the @LGBTLabour AGM… but we went to the social instead. We urgently need an AGM and a democratic committee vote - it’s time to give members a proper choice 🏳️⚧️
Update: Joe is finally here. An hour late, but still here.
We’re here at the @LGBTLabour social event in London. Nearly an hour past the advertised start time, and still no sign of the committee, except for the secretary. Very telling.
As of Today, the LGBT Labour National Committee is run by an entirely unelected group of individuals for the first time in its 50-year history. Democracy has been abolished by the committee for the committee. Only three of us voted to keep it.
COME ON ENGLAND! 🏴 That match was an absolute war of attrition. Beautiful defending from Sweden throughout until the last minute when we brought it up from 2-0 to 2-2. Ending with the single most stressful set of penalties I've ever witnessed, we WON! 🥳🥳
They're cowards. The repercussions of that have been devastating. They've allowed the government to remove our rights without challenge. A friend of mine attempted suicide due to that. If they'd died, I would've wondered what more I could've done to get LGBT Labour to speak out.
I think people would accept you're not being malicious if you and your committee members hadn't spent the last year putting out personal nasty attacks against trans supportive LGBT+ Labour committee members.
We're paying members of LGBT Labour. Regardless of whether you agree with us, we have a right to access the constitution. They also aren't trans supportive. They've actively excluded their only trans member since day 1. It's bordering on abusive, which is why we ran the slate.

We've requested it by email, and I've requested it on the Committee WhatsApp. For months. They can't accomplish the most basic things expected of any organisation. They should resign and allow me to run the AGM so we can elect a competent committee that has members' confidence.
We’re not doing this to be malicious. We’re doing this because democracy and accountability are non-negotiable. We need @LGBTLabour to do better 👇 prideinlabour.org.uk/post/we-demand…
We're still waiting to hear from @LGBTLabour. Members deserve transparency. Find out how you can help us 👇 prideinlabour.org.uk/post/we-demand…
