Ridiculous of @ParksCanada to cancel a permit for a concert based on the religion and political views of a performer. Why is this country so absurdly stupid? cbc.ca/news/canada/no…
Hey @brodiefenlon does this article meet CBC's standards? What does this person's religion have to do with anything? Why are there no voices in the story who support allowing the performance? Is this journalism or activism? cbc.ca/news/canada/no…
Surely it has nothing to do with the fact that we’re the only country that bans private payment for medically necessary care (preventing private funds from taking the pressure off the public system and creating healthy competition) 🙄
89% of Canadians believe better health care is key to a stronger country. So how do we get there? My view-Make provinces more accountable for the tax dollars they spend. I think there is a lot of waste and diversion. @CMA_Docs cma.ca/latest-stories…
Agree with Champ here. Lich has served more than enough time and doesn’t deserve a single day further. Barber is more culpable because he blatantly ignored the Court but there is no planet where what he did should result in years in prison. The Crown’s proposal is shameful.
Lich and Barber sentencing will take place this week. There’s no question it was serious, and they have spent three years showing the opposite of remorse for what they did to the people of Ottawa, but an 8 year sentence is ridiculous. IMO no custody for Lich; 6 months for Barber.
Timely piece by @howardanglin on how Canada is failing to ensure immigrants become Canadian. This was a topic of conversation that came up at every social event I attended over the weekend. People are worried about this even if they don't say it publicly. thehub.ca/2025/07/14/how…
Enjoyed last night's @RunnymedeSoc talk with Justice Harry LaForme, Canada's first Indigenous appellate judge. LaForme grew up in a home without running water. He says section 35 of the Constitution Act has done nothing for Indigenous peoples. Treaties are still being ignored.

We’ve normalized dysfunction #CanadaWaits
My 90 year old mother went to a large ER in NB and was told there was a 2 hour wait--FOR TRIAGE. God only knows how long after that. She was too sick to stand up for 2 minutes (let alone 2 hours) and there were no chairs available. She turned around and went home, saying "I've…

If Ontarians could get MRIs privately we’d have: 1. Healthier people 2. A bigger economy 3. More tax revenue 4. Shorter waits in the public system & 5. More jobs Main reason we don’t have them is that our leaders lack the courage to take on the ideologues & public unions.
MRI machines per 1 million people / OECD nations: Japan 57.4 USA 38 Greece 37.2 South Korea 35.5 Germany 35.2 6T. Italy 33.2 6T. Finland 33.2 Norway 31.3 Austria 26.6 Spain 20.4 OECD Average - 19.4 29th place Canada 10.8 WTF 🤬 Let that SINK in that Canada is 29th of 33…
Who else remembers seven months ago when Minister Freeland resigned because the deficit was $61.9 billion?

Canada's most censorious bylaw just won our first-ever Municipal Muzzle Award – and the competition was fierce. That should worry every Canadian. Now through July 22, your donation to the CCF's NEW Censorship Defence Fund will be doubled up to $50,000. theccf.ca/defencefund/

Radical antisemite Daniela Bonamico was seen yelling "Death To The IDF" in the Jewish neighborhood of Bathurst & Sheppard towards a group of Jews, some of whom served in the IDF, under the approval, supervision & protection of @TorontoPolice @TPSOperations 🎥 by @realCSFreedom
The U.K. is no longer a country with freedom of speech.
British man protested politely at Pride and was arrested by 11 cops. In UK, if you are white British, you have no right to speak. JD Vance is right.
