Okay. You win. You pay my salary. I'll stop criticizing your government now. Please don't fire me. #cdnpolitics #cdnmedia
Your paper wouldn't be in business were it not for the subsidies that the government that you hate put in place - the same subsidies your Trump - adjacent foreign hedge fund owners gladly take to pay your salary.

This is insane. I’m listening to Amy of #NewToronto on @am640 with @BenMulroney and the “Uber crack pipes” delivery service (crack pipes in 20-40 mins) that our hard-earned tax dollars is funding in #Toronto. You need to tune in. This is unbelievable. On now.
Immigration Canada sure is funding a lot of programs for new immigrants in my area. Meanwhile, immediately next to the bus stop these posters are in, a homeless person, likely suffering from untreated addiction and mental health issues, tries to sleep on the ground.

Using 1-2% obscures real numbers. And if it is such a small number, then why do you care so much that they do? They do not have to go to university. I would be the first to say that. I did not until later in life. But they need to work and see where their money goes and they…
Terry, you don’t need to quote tweet gotcha every one of my arguments, you realize that right? What I do understand is statistics. 16 year olds represent ~1-2% of the total voting population. Hardly enough to make any serious impact on voting outcomes. The benefit of starting…
They have no life experience, Eric. Nor have they even begun to wrestle with ideas in a university setting. Most haven't had a paycheck. It's clear you do not have and/or have not taught young adults, and that you do not understand the psychological development of teens. But…
The idea that 16 year olds are pliant, obedient rubes who always listen to their parents/teachers ☠️ Terry, these arguments are built on a foundation of pearl clutching.
😂
When the Left finds out about the political views of the average 16 year old male, they’ll start advocating for the voting age to be raised to 25.
What Eric is advocating for here, without seeming to realize it, is that 16 year-olds be used as political pawns by their parents, high school teachers and the state.
I’m sorry what? You don’t think 16 year olds have skin in the game? If anything, they have the longest horizon for good public policy. If 16 and 17 year olds could vote I’d bet we’d be making more progress on issues like climate and public transport.
