This is the problem with diversity hires. In addition to guaranteeing you don’t get the right person for the job, you also tee whoever is appointed up for failure.

The Assisted Dying Bill might be the most half-arsed piece of legislation yet. I don’t doubt the sincerity of the pro side but surely it can be done better? I hope common sense breaks out and it’s voted down today.
