I’m relieved to have finished my 30 rounds of radiation today. For now I will just say that scheduling even a lumpectomy, an outpatient surgery during peak hurricane season when ICU beds were at their lows is not something I would wish upon an enemy. Get a mammogram annually.
My family would order pizza or takeout every Saturday night like clockwork. The delivery drivers knew us by name. We literally gave them Christmas & birthday presents. I remember helping my Mom get a gift for the pizza delivery guy's baby. They were a part of the community

After a last-minute change due to storms and power outages, a small but mighty group of volunteers met in Ann Arbor, Michigan and assembled 22 lasagnas in an hour and 10 minutes for #nationallasagnaday event. Such amazing TEAMWORK! #ragu #hustle #lasagnalove

DoorDash discourse got me thinking. Why can't we just find restaurants operating locally to us who are down to make food for disabled ppl who have been relying on door dash to survive, find drivers, & ppl could show support by bringing more business to those restaurants?
