People in different countries are accurate at guessing how many people in their society would be willing to donate 1% of their income to fight climate change, BUT they systematically UNDERESTIMATE support. @climatenews @ClimateReality
Would you prefer to get $0.10 for sure, or a 0.01% chance of getting $1,000 for every bottle recycled? My PhD student extraordinaire Jade Radke tested it with people in British Columbia and Alberta by setting up recycling tables and asking people to return beverage containers.…

People, just stop doing Frontiers special issues. Find a nice diamond open access journal, and self-publish and collaboratively peer review the set of papers you all want to write. Do not give Frontiers money. If anything, they hurt your reputation. MDPI is even worse.

New binge-worthy podcast alert! It's called Love Factually (Get it? Factually!). What can we learn about relationship science from the best rom-coms (!). Hosted by two of my favorite psychologists @EliJFinkel & @PaulEastwick. You can check it out here: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/lov…
This was the best talk i saw at TED2024. Highly recommend!
Remarkable @TEDTalks by Sonia Vallabh about her journey with @cureffi to find a cure for genetic prion disease before it kills her. I first met Sonia and Eric just over a decade ago; it’s so exciting how close they are now to their goal. ted.com/talks/sonia_va…
The truth is, us humans haven’t reached our potential for how generous *or* how happy we can be says @DunnHappyLab. Listen to her full conversation with @TEDChris about how the 2 are intertwined on The TED Interview: t.ted.com/AlUwzrb
