New best student evaluation (from this semester). "Dr. B is loud. In some classes I could barely hear my teacher through the mask. Not Dr. B. Dr. B should always wear a mask, and maybe lecture from another room with the door shut. He is loud. Also, class was good." 😂
Queer-identified folks who go to SPSP! Lisa Aspinwall and I are trying to revamp the mentors and the topics for the annual GASP lunch. This upcoming SPSP marks 25 years (WHOOOO) and we are trying to make it special. What folks/topics would you want to see represented?
Please share widely for all our #2025MPA Community!

The PA ground game for Harris is wild. I have had three people come by in the past four days to ask about voting plans and one of them just knocked a few minutes ago (at 630p) to make sure we voted. He was out of breath seeming to be jogging from house to house.
Anyone else have a vague sense of excitement mostly mixed with dread? Like you’re waiting for Santa but he might burn down your house?
Our department @PsychPrinceton is hosting the VIPS program again this summer! PhD students at other universities who do not have summer funds can spend 2 months working in the labs of @DianaTamir, @olsonista, or Rebecca Carey. Spread the word! psychology.princeton.edu/diversity/visi…
Kicking off the winter semester with a visit by @maayandvir from @ReichmanUni today who gave an insightful talk about „Why we should treat sexual objectification as a form of of ostracism“! It was great to have you here, Maayan!
I've committed serious crimes against an award committee's rule that a letter of support must be no longer than 1 page. Type face, margins & font size happened first. Common, even understandable crimes, but what I did to the kerning was unacceptable and yet, happened anyway.
Settle an argument and feel free to explain your answer. Are slippers shoes?
I am searching for people to interview for my new book who either: (1) moved to the Midwest for climate-change reasons or (2) belong to a church that has installed solar panels. Probably a long shot, but if you have any leads, please let me know!
🎉 Still in disbelief but my first first-author pub is out now in JPSP!! "Gentrification creates social class disparities in belonging" psycnet.apa.org/record/2025-33… Takeaways...
This is an amazing program being run by colleagues of mine at Penn State Abington, and I could not be more excited for them and for our teacher alumni! Thank you Professor Teri Dodaro and @DrWozolek for their work on this. psu.edu/news/abington/…
The Washington Post is run by a Murdoch crony, the publisher of the New York Times wants to punish Democrats for not giving enough interviews, Twitter is owned by a neo-Nazi, and CNN is run by a good friend of that neo-Nazi. Here’s why liberal media bias is a problem.
Trump canceled both his 60 Minutes and CNBC interview. He declined to participate in another debate, and he is refusing to release any of his medical records. All of this makes us wonder: what is Kamala Harris hiding from us?
Whether it’s Kamala Harris collecting vinyl or Donald Trump playing songs at a rally to cover up the fact he was having a stroke, both candidates have taken an unusual approach to music.
This person is a national treasure. I didn't know they existed before this week and now I only want to get my weather news from them.
No, we can't stop hurricanes with a nuke...
