Dear Karol Please share your tax returns and go back to the crypt.
Doctors shouldn’t strike.
Hi @wesstreeting! I hope you’re enjoying your two-month summer holiday. At the last general election, you were elected by a 0.6% majority. 90% of @BMAResidents voted for strike action. I promise that there will be a pro-NHS doctor standing against you at the next election.
Keir Starmer: Resident doctors should break ranks with the BMA leadership. The industrial action that starts on Friday is in no one’s interests and medics should not follow their union down its dangerous and destructive route, he says. thetimes.com/article/3fdcd5…

Hi Jim Can you please remind us what you did for a living and how you got into The Lords?
That's very inspiring, Chris. What sort of champagne is your favourite? Are all doctors entitled to champagne? Are taxpayers's entitled to champagne, or is it just for doctors?
You were saying @wesstreeting ? @DHSCgovuk @BMAResidents @TheBMA
It takes 20 years for a London dr to earn more than a London PA 🤯 I asked O3-Pro to analyse cumulative earnings from the start of their courses onwards, accounting for the London weighting. Docs cumulatively out-earn PAs 21 yrs after starting med school, 6 yrs into consultancy
NEW: @wesstreeting has been slammed by several trade union general secretaries after claiming doctors' strikes undermine the trade union movement. 'Don't question the mandate of the doctors when your own constituents came within a whisker of removing you.'
This man should be on the front bench. Maybe we’ll have to wait for a real Labour administration.
I’m supporting @TheBMA Because trying to fix the NHS without improving pay & conditions for health/social care workers is like trying to refill a bath without the plug Recruitment, retention, burnout - this is the crisis Resident doctors deserve better. So does every patient

I’ve been a Doctor 36yrs & I understand why Residents have resorted to strikes 20% less pay than Drs in 2008, £100k student debt, poor working conditions/job security, higher pension contributions, longer working life as pension after 67yrs I had it good & Karol had it better
Doctor strikes going ahead. A poor decision. I have never striked for a single minute in my fifty plus year career in medicine, and I never will.
Hey resident doctors, remember this: You owe the NHS nothing You owe the public nothing You owe the Trusts nothing You worked hard to become highly qualified and skilled professionals, it was all you You are owed a fair wage and NOT a pay cut! Same for consultants Strike hard
Thank you to the fantastic LNC Chairs standing in solidarity with @BMAResidents @TheBMA
A fantastic turnout at the @GSTTnhs picket today. Doctors came out in strength and made sure they were heard all the way in Westminster by @wesstreeting. No dr wants to strike. But we’ve been forced into this position by a Government that refuses to value and retain NHS staff.

'Even if our pay was restored we would still be paid less than the Physician Assistants with their two year degree ' BMA Resident Doctors Committee Co-chair, Dr Ross Nieuwoudt told #BBCBreakfast his members feel 'a little bit tricked' by Health Secretary Wes Streeting as they…
I was taught by KC when a student. He was one of the most intelligent and able doctors I ever met. He wore his intellect lightly but it was apparent whenever he spoke. Unfortunately, his reforms of medical training in the early 1990s were utterly and completely appalling.
Trump’s heading to Scotland tomorrow. The Scottish papers aren’t exactly rolling out the red carpet.
Wes Streeting’s leaked offer letter to the BMA confirms what many of us feared: there is still no serious intent from him to resolve this dispute. 🔴 No offer on pay - despite this being a pay dispute. 🔴 Vague references to “exploring” help with the cost of equipment, meals,…
