Solidarity with all striking doctors. You are worth more to society than the politicians and pundits demonising you for demanding your worth. They wouldn't last a day in your shoes.
Utterly disgraceful remarks from @wesstreeting These doctors are the backbone of our NHS Their real pay is down 20% compared to 2008 It's time they were treated with the respect and dignity they deserve

Thanks to ex @BCFC and @BarnsleyFC player Nicky Eaden for this message of support to striking Birmingham bin workers. Up the workers! #BrumBinStrike #BCFC @eadensbar2 @EyupandDown

The far right is spreading misinformation about asylum seekers at the Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf. Let’s get the facts straight: • The Government made the decision to use this hotel -the Council had no say in this decision by central Government. • The Council is told this…
Images out of Gaza today are the worst I've ever seen. Children piled on a hospital floor, bloody, injured, dying, dead. A toddler with her intestines outside her body while another screams in terror, reaching out for safety. I can't express this feeling. The rage, the shame.
For years it’s been clear to me that Israel would commit crimes this horrific for the sake of killing off every trace of Palestinian life. You only had to pay attention, and believe what Israelis said. But I wouldn’t have believed the world would watch and let them do it.
Frontpage of the Daily Express shows Muhammad Zakariya Ayyob al-Matouq, one, who weighs the same as a three-month old baby. Israel is blocking aid into Gaza and using starvation as a weapon of war.
'A seven-month-old baby lies in our paediatric intensive care unit, so tiny and malnourished that I initially mistook her for a newborn. The phrase “skin and bones” doesn’t do justice to the way her body has been ravaged.' — @maynard_nick theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
