🔥 Today in @CellCellPress! Drs. Borzo Gharibi & Silvia Santos (@SantosLaB8) led this study showing that GATA3 is required and sufficient for #amniogenesis and BMP and Wnt signals from the amnion contribute to amniogenesis. @TheCrick bit.ly/45bJs0c
🌐We've implemented this annotation strategy on a user-hosted web platform, enabling easy data import, query, and export, making it perfect for both internal documentation and large-scale collaborations 🔗 doi.org/10.1093/gigasc…
Our publication in @genomeresearch presents a new paradigm in genome de novo assembly - using AI instead of classical algorithms. Here, we replace the Layout phase with Graph Neural Networks
GNNome was published in @genomeresearch! This is a novel paradigm for de novo genome assembly based on GNNs. Without explicitly implementing any simplification strategies, it can achieve results comparable or higher than other SOTA tools. Paper, code, and overview are 👇 [1/8]
🧬 Our annotation structure covers everything from biological sample prep to library creation, sequencing, and processed files, ensuring data quality, comparability, and ease of use across experiments. #bioinformatics #dataquality Explore more: 🔗 doi.org/10.1093/gigasc…

Problem is, every time non-experts engage with me on Twitter about something that I by necessity know much more about, they don't ask for explanation or to learn something - instead, they want to prove me wrong. And then they call me "arrogant" when I dismiss their "arguments".
What leads us to ignore experts isn't their knowledge. It's their arrogance. Evidence: Scientists are more credible when they admit what they don't know, acknowledge what they got wrong, and update their views. Trust is earned by expressing humility, not by asserting authority.
