Evangelista: The Bible teaches that we are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Our works or the quality of our faith do not save us. Nomista: OH SO YOU THINK SINNING IS OKAY?!?!?!?!
Theological retrieval is good but here’s a warning: Reverse chronological snobbery. Just because it is old doesn’t mean it’s better than what is new. The Holy Spirit has still been at work refining His church since the last major confession of faith.
“love the sinner and hate the sin” is very Augustinian just a reminder for the trads out there
And I mean, very close:
Sad to hear about Pastor John MacArthur's death. May God comfort his family and bless Grace Community Church. Over the years, I've met many Christians who fell in love with the Bible by listening to MacArthur's sermons. I give thanks to God for that legacy.
This is going to be really good!
Release day, Callooh! Callay! You are hereby invited to explore the architecture of the majestic cathedral of John's Gospel: Behold the glory of the Christ, marvel at the unity of Testaments Old and New, and worship the Incarnate Lord and Triune God. amzn.to/46tJilJ
Life update: I graduated with my MDiv from RTS and married Ashton! What a ride these last four years have been! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Roman Catholic theologians do not employ Thomistic epistemology when arguing against the clarity of Scripture.
In a world morally adrift, the Church is not just a refuge—it is a moral oasis. Here, under the faithful preaching of God’s Word, the people of God are formed, trained, and re-ordered according to divine truth. Scripture confronts our confusion, reshapes our conscience, and…
The flood and Red Sea were salvation through judgement events for the people of God, which baptism corresponds to (1 P:20-21; 1 C 10:1-2). Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death (THE salvation thru judgement)? R 6:3
In scripture, waters engulfing from below is always a sign of judgment Whereas water coming down from above is always a sign of blessing You tell me which one is the more biblical mode of baptism
"What to do about it" is the restoration of what created the West in the first place, i.e. re-Christianization. This will remain absolutely unthinkable to most in the West for some time to come, until at long last they admit to themselves that it is absolutely necessary
“The West is in Terminal Decline” My sobering conversation with @philippilk
This is going to be based.
I've never experienced this much excitement over one of my projects. The response is simply unreal. 😲 The best place to order Connecting Scripture is Amazon: a.co/d/c5xnOOY We are still on track for a publication date of 9/15/25.
Tolerating religious pluralism is not the same as celebrating religious pluralism. I think this is an important distinction to be made when discussing liberalism vs. post-liberalism in Christian political theology.
