Do you believe in the limbus patrum? A place of the dead, where Old Testament Saints had to wait for Christ death before they could enter into God’s presence?

The Bible never argues for the fact that children are a blessing, it just assumes it. What is assumed in scripture needs to be proven to modern day christians… What is happening to the world
To claim that the new covenant does not contain covenant curses for covenant breakers is to posit that the new covenant is “half” a covenant
When Paul asks what then is the benefit of circumcision, he says “great in every respect!” Rom 2:2 you might wonder what is the benefit of infant baptism? Great in every respect! The same kind of covenantal perks come with baptism as came with circumcision.
The old covenant is linked with the other covenants of promise (Ephesians 2:11) The covenant of works was not of promise but of works. Ergo the old covenant is not a covenant of works.
Should those who would be imprisoned for their views in reformed cities during the time of the reformers because of their views be considered reformed? 🤔🤔🤔
No… God does not appreciate creativity in worship Gavin sounds far more like an eo than a Protestant here. youtu.be/uiLDeIFqw2s?si…
So I guess the body of Christ is not actually the people of God? We are just the ugly red headed stepchild to Gods preference of Semitic blood
This is the only way scripture makes sense
The law was given under the old covenant The old covenant was an administration of the covenant of grace Ergo, To hold to the law apart from the covenant of grace is to make the old covenant into a covenant of works
I’ve had to counsel a lot of Christians lately saying “know the Lord” Weird…
Arguing against infant baptism in the household baptism passages results from a deficient oikology If you understand the biblical teaching of family, you will understand those passages and what they are saying properly.
Veggie tales is a violation of the third commandment
To send the children away during the worship service makes Sunday school into a “limbus infantium”
I’d be willing to bet that during the time of the kings, the few faithful saints who suggested that the groves and high places should be taken down were called purists and treated like they were legalists.
The old covenant was a light and a grace to those under it. It revealed Christ’s mediatorial offices and built up the elect in faith. It is only in light of the full effulgence of the substance that one going back to it can be said to be pursuing a law of letter and death.
The Old covenant is one of the covenants of the promise (Ephesians 2:11) The promise is not of works but of faith Ergo, the old covenant is not a covenant of works. Have a great day!
“God’s covenants are the best umpires in all controversial divinity, and the best hammers for all errors and heresies against the truth” Puritan author Francis Roberts
Pick a psalm, any psalm. I guarantee you it will be a thousand times better than any song of human composition
The mosaic shared circumcision as a sacrament with the Abrahamic covenant. The Abrahamic covenant was of promise not a covenant of works. Ergo, the old covenant was not a covenant of works.
